The other reviews are correct, I have photos and a video showing the condition of the phone, immaculate condition (as the phone actually wasn't used, it was my backup phone so all it did was sit on my desk) and after they received my phone sent me photos of a phone that has scratches all on the screen. I recall reviews on here saying they tried to pull the same thing and on trust pilot.
Anyways I called, the person said it may have been a rep so send me through the videos and pictures (which I did) and it will be escalated to the manager, well I received an email, instantly defensive, accusing me of my phones being full of glare and not being able to see the scratches..... sorry but there is no glare at all, it shows a MIRROR image which would be obstructed by said scratches if there was any..... plus the video showing me putting it in the box (again completely immaculate and scratch free, remember this phone was brand new and never used, only charged and sat on my home office desk as a back up.... also always a case used.... so the photos and video backed this up.
Anyways they refused to accept my evidence so this will be going to the police as this is straight up fraud. I highly suspect they use another phone that looks the same..... OR they actually do scratch yours up..... which is then malicious damage.
When questioned why they would do this..... which is laughable.... to quote a higher price then actually pay the person less? I mean this is obvious.
The most hilarious thing is I used to work in a phone store, so I know how to take photos of a phone to show its condition, you do it so you get a reflection as that picks up scratches from that particular angle, then you show other angles (although if it is bad enough it will show from a straight just shot of the phone, but this is how you pick up hard to see ones) and did both, which I'll show in my video and pictures below.
I also used to work in fair trading, so I know and have the displeasure of dealing with businesses that pull this shady behavior. This is why I always cover myself and tell others to take videos and pictures of your products BEFORE sending them.
Anyways I'll paste photos and the video below of the condition that I sent the phone way in and the the photos of condition they accused me of it arriving in so people can see what kind of company this is.... first immaculate.... then all the sudden full of scratches.....

Happy – Offered me a good price, good communication, and money in my account within a day or so of it arriving. Will use again
Disappointed – Sent an IPhone 8 in good working order and condition. They sent photos of a scratched up phone screen saying it was the one I sent….absolutely not mine, I wouldn’t have even bothered sending it in that condition. They offered a lower than agreed price ( seems like a common tactic of this and other similar companies). Beware, they think they have you bent over a barrel !!!!!

I've now had further emails (and now threats) from the business saying they will get their lawyer involved, apparently for slander, although not once have I slandered / name called the business, just simply posted facts, the photos as posted in my original review and the same with the video show everything. The business accuses me of turning the phone fast to avoid this? Are they serious? Do they know how a video even works? There is a thing called pause..... so you can literally see every frame if you want.
Anyway I welcome a police investigation into this company as this is exactly how a guilty business acts, when you go to expose them they threaten you because then their whole scam falls apart.
Their lawyer can speak to the police.
I've asked for my phone to be returned and if it is damaged now I will be pressing charges for malicious damage on top of attempted fraud that this company has already tried to commit.
