Terrible waste of money – Does zero waste of money, doesn’t even get surface grease off the overhead hob Show details
No propellant in new can – Bought a can of this from Coles. Went to use it a month later and nothing would come out. I can even squeeze the can which should be impossible if there's propellant inside. It's still full and weighs 471g. Show details

Won't buy again – Did a poor job and that's AFTER I'd already attacked the Weber Q with hot water and detergent! Will save my money and just clean more often before a buildup.
The definition of crap – There’s only one thing harder than cleaning a grimy BBQ, and that’s by using this god awful product. Cleaning a BBQ is a difficult task.. and when you decide to dedicate half a day for absolutely no results. It left me steaming with anger. They should consider renaming this ‘Selley’s BBQ Day Spa’ because this stuff is literally weak. Show details
Poor performance – I used the product as per the instructions to the grill plates of a Weber Q (first use). Grease was poorly dissolved and after using nearly half the bottle and repeated attempts I finally obtained better (and cheaper) results with hot soapy water. Most disappointing product. Show details
I got better result out of a scrubber hot soapy water – I sprayed a baby Webber Q to give it a clean the result was so disappointing. I never leave reviews on anything but this one got me terrible product. I’ve got such a better result out of hot soapy water. Show details
Great Product Value for money Ideal to clean range hood – Friend of mine suggested as I was looking for a good cleaner for the range hood. Best grease cleaner without doubt. Not sure about BBQ cleaning as I have not tried on grill yet. I bought 400 G and it can last for long time as you only needs few sprays at a time. Don't forget to COVER YOUR eyes or wear goggles liquid is dangerous for both skin and eyes. Show details
Only useful for the simplest of jobs – Used Selleys BBQ Tough Clean on a Weber stainless steel grate. Process used was to clean the grill as much a possible, sprayed on the Selleys product, left for two hours, cleaned, sprayed again and left for another hour, cleaned, then sprayed again and left for a 5 days inside a garbage bag. Still not clean. Even harsh scrubbing did not remove the offending grime. So this product is quite useless for the tough jobs. Fail. Show details
Perfect – This stuff is the bomb. I tried a few different cleaners on a very dirty exaust from a cafe that hadnt been cleaned for 15 years, its stainless steel. I left it on for 7 hours and it virually just wiped off with water. Took a bit of elbow greese as this grease was thick, i belive the reason it cant be used of fittings is there is rubber in the… Read more
washers so it may cause them to degrade, aspecially if its on gas then this shoulf be avoided at all costs, it didnt seem to effect any screws or bolts and they were easy to remove and after it was cleaned and were not damaged, Note: I used sugar soap with water instead of just water to clean after waiting the 7 hours, prob not reccomened by did make keeping the cloth cleaner and risining better. happy cleaning
Amazing results on a BBQ with 10 year old buildup of grime – We have a well utilized stainless 6 burner BBQ with 10 years of grime built up on the inside. Rather than buy a new BBQ, I decided to give this stuff a go. You need to put the BBQ in the shade as the sun causes the foam to go flat and dry out. I left it for 3 hours and the muck just fell off. A pressure cleaner saved a lot of scraping. Show details
Good cleaner – I used the pump action spray bottle and found it cut through the grease quite well. I wasn't expecting any miracles, but found it to be way better than any detergent, but not as good as caustic oven cleaner (no good on aluminium bbq's anyway) and a lot less harmful to the skin. A bit pricey for a bottle of cleaner though, unless you can find it on special.
Awesome for combustion heater glass – So I haven't used this product to clean a BBQ but I would say it is awesome for cleaning the glass on my combustion fire. I have always had to use a scraper and scourer to clean the caked on creosote that builds up, but this stuff I picked up with little expectations and discovered fantastic results! For the people complaining it doesn't do much… Read more
on their BBQ, I would recommend you let it sit for about 5 hours before cleaning, 20mins will do nothing.
Don't waste your time – This would be the wort product I've ever purchased from Selleys - Took more time to clean up the mess it left than it would have to buy and build a new BBQ - Total rubbish!!

Should be called "Selleys BBQ Rough" not "tough" – I purchased this product after seeing all of the hype on TV about how good it was. The guy sat drinking beer whilst this product went to work - really is a sick joke!! I wouldn't even score this product a 1 out of ten.
Useless – Less than useless, it was harder to clean the mess left by the foam than it was eventually to clean the grill using a better product, might as well have used water.
