to say they could know longer commit to the appointment that has been confirmed and needed to do a different time which did not suit me. I explained I had already accommodated the inconvenience of waiting the entire day with no hot water electricity and wanted to keep the original appointment.

I was told this was not possible as I had other more urgent jobs and was met with a period of excuses and their problems with scheduling which is not a concern the customer should need to hear about

I was then told they could come out Monday which was completely unacceptable. Again it’s misleading and false advertising saying same-day service when I placed a call Friday morning and the earliest they could do was Monday

When I pushed back saying please keep the original appointment and I don’t appreciate being pushed back the night before and that there should be some kind of reduction in the callout fee they can’t make the original scheduled appointment.

I received no response over text but an email this morning at 7am cancelled and said they don’t want to disengage as I had been disrespectful when all I was simply doing was keeping them accountable stating the facts and asking for a minimum level of service

unsuccessful in the sales pitch and I had to reduce the job down to just the one necessary piece of work, as the prices were extremely high. The actual time spent on the repair was about 10 minutes tops - he was so quick and efficient. I worked out later that the hourly rate was around $2400/hr good grief!

Prices quoted for other replacement parts were inflated by about 500% compared to basic prices that can be found for comparable items in your ordinary hardware store.

So be careful with what you sign up for with this company. I have no problem with the quality of the work done, nor the person who turned up, but they charge enormously high fees and so beware.

Overcharged - rip off – Wanted to charge $560 to replace 2 x smoke detectors while already on site to hang a light and found a fault in my fuse bx.
