completed all the details, paid a deposit, and had a timeframe the car would be picked up. The dates approached, and there was still no contact from a delivery driver to arrange the rest of the payment and pick up details. It reached the last day of the set pick up dates, and I emailed support to find out what was going on. This was there response:

Thank you for your inquiry.

A transport provider has not yet been allocated to your job.

You will receive an email notification once they are.

Unfortunately there is no guarantee as the transport providers book jobs according to the routes they're taking.

So this is purely dependent on their availability.

I would suggest you try and source another transportation company to collect your vehicle in the meantime just in case we are not able to allocate your job to a transport provider.

We will issue a full refund for the deposit paid if we are unsuccessful in allocating you a transport provider.

Safe to say, I’ve asked for a refund as there is apparently no guarantee or timeframe your vehicle can be delivered, even though I picked set dates and paid accordingly to those dates on their website. There is no communication or updates on your delivery. If it was up to them they would stay silent and just take your deposit hoping you would forget about it!

Absolute waste of time and scammers!! Don’t trust at all!!

Coming closer to the date of expected pick-up, I had not heard from Shiply and when I tried to make contact, realized there was no contact number, apart from an office in the UK (in which that phone number didn't work either). I then emailed and they replied to say that they could not fill my job?! I then had to re-book last minute with another transport company, which cost me $800 more than what I anticipated to pay with Shiply. I emailed Shiply and asked for a cancellation and refund and they told me they would refund me within 10 days. 20 days later!!! I still have not received my refund. I have sent them another email requesting my refund, again. It is also interesting that when I try to find their email to say they have sent me my refund.. the email is no longer in my inbox. Absolute scammers. This company needs to be reported to the news for further investigation as it is absolutely illegal to take money from a customer and not deliver any service.

I was encouraged to look for another company to supply the service. It is now four days on and still no contact. I have just sent them an email requesting my deposit back hopefully it is returned. This company/webiste is not what it seems be very careful. Do not waste your time with this company you will just end up having to find another company. I have just received an email back to say that they have still no allocated me a transport company and that they would process my refund but it will take 10 days!!

transport company prepared to do it for that money. They are highly likely to leave you without transport on the day. To me it's dishonest. I accepted and paid for a service to be performed. NOT for an intention to have it performed. Fortunately I realised this before I found myself with two cars without transport and cancelled. I did get my deposit refunded promptly without question which gained them the second star. My opinion. Don't waste your time with them.

there for quotes, there were none in over two weeks. They say the deposit will be refunded but the wasted time is gone. Not happy. So basically they take your money to give you a "quote" that never happens

found that there were over 100 others who had also made "bookings" and none of them had had any quotes either, how is that possible? Have since relisted my car transport job on another site and had many quotes in the first 24 hours. These guys must be doing something really wrong, even people looking to quote on jobs don't go near them and I suggest you don't either. that I found out it wasn't a booking at all. It was an expression of interest which no towing company bothered to take up. So I was left with a stranded car and a 24 hour delay before Shiply could get back to me to confirm the non pick up. They refunded the deposit but the service is completely useless and Shiply is not easily contacted, as per usual with internet based so called "service" companies. Don't waste your time!
