Our package was pick up from our home address, we were sent up dates of where the package was. It was delivered to Ireland on time and in one piece.......amazing! I will definitely be using this company again to send packages home.

Hastle free service

Cheap, fast and hassle free
I would highly recommend Pack and Send. Their quote was substantially cheaper than the competition, they offer door to door service and the whole process was smooth and hassle free! Will definitely use them again!

With a lot of courier services, you need to be a member to be able to send a package. If it’s a one then Pack and Send are the best. The prices are affordable and you really can’t go wrong. Thanks.

Slow and Steady
The system was easy enough system to use, they pick it up from your house, it got to where it needed to go safely and was reasonably priced. I have also used it for a parcel going the opposite direction (major city to regional centre and it was very quick). But that said...
The website stated 1-3 days for delivery - now i'm in a regional centre so i expected it to be a bit slower but it was 4 days before it was even picked up. On pick up it didn't show up in the tracking system - apparently it won't until it gets to a "scanning centre". So...Read more
it was picked up Friday then showed up in the tracking system for the first time the following Tuesday, 900km away. It was then delivered the same day. So sure - i'd recommend them to others and probably use them again, just don't expect super fast service and detailed tracking for the price you pay.1 comment

Terrible Service + Communication
Courier never showed up despite having a 9am - 5pm time range. No-one called to contact to let me know they weren't coming - I called multiple times throughout the day asking for an update and was not given one. Boxes had to be manually dropped at a drop-off center which was highly problematic. No-one followed up to explain why the courier service never arrived.

Awful, won't use again
From metro Vic to rural Vic, estimated delivery time two business days. On the afternoon of the third day I called to see where it was, only to be told they had outsourced the delivery to another company. 'Unfortunately your package won't be delivered for another two days as it's a rural area", but wouldn't give me the name of the other company, so I couldn't even make alternate arrangements to pick up at the depot. Really disappointed.

This was my first experience using Pack & Send and I was very impressed with the ease of the whole process from getting a quote to ordering and preparing the parcel for collection. The parcel was collected the day after ordering and delivered the following day. I particularly liked being able to have it collected without being present and the frequent status updates and delivery advice.

The package got collected a week late
I was a sender and the package took over a week to get collected. No communication until I complained. No calls back, some guy just rocked up out of the blue to collect, I had no idea they were coming so lucky I was home. Our package didn't get to its destination on time despite allowing 10 days.

Not amazing
The measurement we did at home was correct (the package was a rectangular box) but as the package bulged slightly in the middle, they remeasured it in the shop and charged me over $60 for a few cm of "bulge". The site could easily highlight exactly how to measure but it does not do so - it just asks for three dimensions (it's probably hidden in the fine print somewhere.)
Then, the maximum amount says 30kg on the site, but in the shop they said 29 kg and my daughter had to remove stuff from her boxes.

nd expensive and full of traps to make you pay more than you expected. Same trick as the airlines. They know you are stuck once you have packed and booked, and you will have no choice but to pay the extras. I don't mind paying what it costs to deliver something, but it should be spelled out on the website how to measure, what the maximum weight is etc. because at the moment it is set out to make P&S look cheaper than competitors on the glossy site but then they sting you on the pickup.2 comments

there's no real economy options for something light to go overseas !
and no i don't want to use aust post because they take @forever
no problem with the service— but the unpacking of everything got to me,
i had declared it was what is was and guess what? it was the same items...ridiculous!
