Xiaomi for repair, they were asked to take the device to the seller they bought from, and in case the seller was not authorized they would be unable to repair it and now you were stuck with a dead device.

Thankfully, Shopro (Gearbite on eBay) is an authorized Xiaomi seller and they honored my warranty within the one year period. I mailed the device to VIC using the Auspost return label they sent. Communication was flawless even during the Covid-19 crisis in March/April. My device came back as good as new. Very impressed!

Don’t expect your order to be shipped – Order for one temperature sensor was placed on 9/12/19. Site claimed it was in stock in Melbourne and delivery was to Tasmania. It was supposed to be a Christmas present being delivered directly to the recipient. As she didn’t know it was arriving, it took until after Christmas to realise the sensor didn’t arrive. that the order was marked as Ready to Ship but wasn’t shipped. Messages using the websites message service during the first week of January 2020 were ignored, chat service never worked. During a phone call, we were first told that it was cancelled (it wasn’t and nothing on the order suggested it was). Then we were told it would be posted that day or the next. Two days later, it still hadn’t been posted so another message was sent. It took another day before a response was received. This one stating that a refund would be given as the sensor was out of stock. Never mind that the website listing still says it is in stock. A week later another email is received claiming they can’t refund to the credit card that was used for the purchase so could they have an account number. Now, over a month after the order, we’re just waiting to see if the refund shows up. Stay away from this business.

update: 26/01/20 - Still no refund

Excellent service where they went above and beyond to get the item I needed ASAP – Canberra is under significant smoke and with a baby in the house, we needed an air purifier stat! The Shopro staff were great at trying to figure out a way to get the item to me ASAP even liaising with Australia Post. Item arrived in a timely manner and its such a great piece of mind to have clean air in the house again. Have bought a lot of Xiaomi stuff from them over the past few years and they sell top notch gear. Highly recommend. Show details

Nothing Received – Bought a Xiaomi air purifier from this seller on their ebay store. Was suggested that the product is shipped from NSW, but seems like a misleading information. Nothing received till now. Has bought a Breville one from other website, and works great.

Joke!! – These people are not based in Sydney only the warehouse it. It seems there customer services is offshore and that is why when there is a problem with the order they can't do anything about it. them they will need to redirect the order to the warehouse. IF they try to charge me for any of it I will be contacting department of fair trading. I have been asking to have the details of the person in charge and they are ignoring my emails. Do not deal with these people I will be putting this all over my social media to warn all my friends who did actually use them to no longer have anything to do with them. When i order something from Australia i expect to be served in Australia. Absolutely disgusting , Department of fair trading need to look into this mob.

Terrible customer service – They are good until you don't have an issue with your order. I placed many successful orders, recently ordered a power bank and it was lost by Australia Post, I have contacted them 4 times and every time some representative with very poor English answers, takes my details and ask me to wait for them to call back. Its been 26 days now and luckily I used PayPal so I will be contacting them for a refund and will try not to use shopro again. Show details

Shopro is starting to become a favourite of mine – I’d never bought from Shopro before. I want a power bank before flying overseas last month. I found a decent deal on the site at a fantastic price. They claim it is Melbourne stock so I ordered one immediately. It arrived three days later as promised. Good job! Thank you shopro. Show details

Terrible – These guys advertise they ship from Melbourne but they ship from China. In my case, my item was supposed to be delivered in 3 days. Tracking was not progressing since the very first day. Australia post revealed these guys are sending from overseas even though they made it look like is from AU. 9 days later they contact me saying the item I ordered is out of stock. Are you for real?!?!

Products not stocked locally – Be wary when purchasing from the website, the products are advertised as in Melbourne but my order was delivered from overseas, order was placed 11-9-18 item location Melbourne, my address was Brisbane, to be delivered 27-9-18, I have tried contacting this supplier and web site and cant get a response.
