HARDCORE OFF ROAD RUBBER – Without doubt, this is my favorite off road tyre choice if you are seeking a mud terrain tyre without compromise. Aggressive tread pattern rewards the driver with supreme off road ability in mud, rock and loose surfaces. Rugged construction, protected side walls and extended offset side lugs work exceptionally well in extreme terrain. I've been using The Centipede's for pure off road work for over 10 years now and they've stood up against the test of time. Although brilliant off road, their on road use should be limited due to their aggressive tread pattern. Extremely noisy with significant vibration on bitumen roads, I'd class this tyre as a 90/10 off road to on road ratio. But if you are after a complete 2nd set of wheels for your 4wd that only see weekend off road work, look no further. By doing so you'll receive at least 5 years of service life for a non-competition weekend 4wder. Remarkable off road traction. Not for continous bitumen road use.
