Had it near 6 months only and it has started grinding and scraping - simpson SDV457HQWA 4.5kg – Terrible. Worked the first few times. Now grinds and overheats. Purchased direct over the phone from Harvey Norman O’Connor, WA on 01/05/2022 with my Bosch Dishwasher and both delivered next day. Great! Dryer Has been used half a dozen times and started scraping / making metal grinding noise. Less than 6 months old! Don’t buy one! SDV457HQWA. Show details
WAS REALLY HAPPY BUT NOW ANNOYED – Purchased dryer in February 2021. I only use it occasionally and am happy with the simplicity and quick drying. However, over the last few weeks the timer knob keeps falling off and as it lands all over the place I have trouble finding it and then picking it up as I’m disabled. Rang service they can’t help unless I buy another knob but I shouldn’t have to. Won’t buy again. Show details

to use and it looks pretty good. The front door opens 180 degrees which is absolutely great. The lint filter is easy to access and clean. Another great point - it is very quiet. Beautiful.
Efficient dryer in the lower price range – Purchased this item to dry clothes during rainy periods. Use the product for casual clothing including jackets and pants. The product dries efficiently and is quite gentle on the clothes. The controls and easy to use and located at the top of the machine. It is quiet to run and the filter is located inside the door. motor over heated and kept breaking the circuit breaker. We replaced it with another brand. This may have been a one of but it was very disappointing for such a trusted brand.

really only go one way - even though will actually turn both, My only other little gripe is that you can't get it with the door hung different ways as unfortunately the layout of our laundry (and my height meaning it has to be hung upside down so I can reach the dial) means that the door opens the wrong way which is very awkward when trying to get clothes in and out. Something I will certainly be considering more deeply when buying our next one.

Can’t live without it – Good value for money...Easy to clean the lint filter out...Very easy control panel to use...We purchased a rubber mat to sit out dryer on the bench in the laundry to keep it sturdy when in use...Definitely no complaints about this dryer.

Great value small dryer – I bought this dryer to help with rainy days, finish clothes off at night and to dry sheets. Is is very basic as it only has a warm or hot temperature setting and a timer. I have no clue how long to set it to dry my clothes or linen and there are no instructions so I have to guess or Google how long. I didn’t have many options as I needed a dryer to stack on top of my small washing machine and this dryer was just the right size. Show details
