Hi, my Simpson top loader is filling up with 3/4 full for a low water level aswell as spinning out the wash water instead of neutral draining before spinning. Why is this happening? It is the newer model I just realised
My washing machine has been stopping before it finishes it cycle. Turn the power off and leave for 10mins , then I can get it to work again. Would this be a power pcb assy issue.
Sounds like the electronic board has a fault.If the machine is 5 years plus expect problems to appear.My machine looked brand new but was unable to buy the part so i just bought a new one.The salesman who sold me the Simpson told me they are all garbage now with plastic gearboxes.
Thanks for the reply I think it might be the electronic board can get a replacement. Machine is about 15years old . Has done alot of work. Just have to decide what to do.

I have a simpson it stops at 7 mins with a e20 code I have tested the pump and the hose is clear ,I swith to spin and the same thing, The machine is like new too good to dump. can you help. Mike
Probably in the card no sure it is worth fixing.my problem was the start capacator and after waiting 3 weeks foe the part which did not arrive i dumped it and bought a LG.Simpson just wiped me so never again.They are not like the old Simpsons

Need to rebalance the load otherwise turn machine off, wait 30 sec then turn back on.

I have an SWT 954 that continually comes up with EFO code.pressing pause and restart will allow it to continue but pump does not work and then EFO comes up again.eventually after doing this procedure several times the pump will start and the wash will finish.Is there a simple reset procedure to fix it?I have asked customer care for help,but they want to send out a technician.They would need to have an aeroplane to get to where we live!
When I had an EFO code appear, I would press pause, rebalance the load then wait 5mins for any suds to disappear. Restart the machine, and I generally didn't have an issue after that.
Our SWT954 comes up with the E20 code. I gravity drained the washing machine and pulled the drain pump out and pulled apart... little bit of dirt but no foriegn materials fouling the impeller. Also checked the pump out with my multimeter and it checked out ok so I put it together. Retried and same thing. So manually drained it and continued the cycle now a EFO code comes up. Had this machine for a few years now and unable to fault. We are gardeners, family of 5 and use this every night. Thank you, Angelo
My simpson swt954 drains but wont spin. It's not the lid switch or the air pressure pipe that's clogged (checked, all clear). Drain and spin cycle counts down from 21min to 7min (draining) then just stops and displays 0.00(min). What is the next thing to look at?
What are problems with these washing machines
They all seem to breakdown just out of warranty, or so they tell you. Mine was showing all kinds of errors from about 6 months onwards, but fully had the pump blow up just out of warranty & I’m left without a washing machine now. Don’t waste your money.
My brand new simpson 8kg has an E HO on display after 1st wash. now it keeps displaying that. What is E HO n how can it be fixed?

My washing works, however after discharging of the water the Error code L17 appears. Of course the error indicates for unbalance of the machine. the machine does not seem to be unbalance. Then my question is "What could be the problem?"
The only thing that I could think of, would be the filter or something maybe fallen underneath it. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful.
Mc fills not on cold . Fills ok on hot only . Found cold inlet valve opens ok./fills ok. when connecting onto the hot wires & controls on hot supply . Reconnect inlet valves onto their original wiring found hot valve op ok. & cold not, even with a supply of 230V. Checked & rechecked confirmed the above fault . My next step is to replace the main controller board , correct ??, please confirm , ta! ***Cold valve opens ok with a separate 230Vsupply***
You would have to go through the painful process of contacting their customer service department. I’ve had nothing but air bubbles words from them. But good luck & let us all know how it goes for you. I’m still waiting to be called back about mine.
Where is the fuse located on this machine?
Some machines are fitted with fuses , some don't . How old is the machine ? Old machines do have fuses , some new models don't . If fitted with an electronic board , check on the board . WHY are you looking for the fuse ?? With a blown fuse you still have to find the cause , contact service .
How do u open the top section to clean it?
You can remove the centre agitator and remove the lint
For cleaning , refer users manual online .

Not filling with water. Customer action: Make sure both wall taps are on and hose filters are not blocked. Raise drain hose if water is flowing out of drain hose. Press START?PAUSE to restart wash.
If problem remains, call Service.

Best contact Service for proper fault finding in the fill cycle , could be a faulty valve , fault on the pressure side or faulty main controller board .
Ok all iv had is problems with my machine it keeps having a error 40 come up does anyone know what this means?
