Works great with a lot of trouble and effort. Customer service is terrible – The vacuum does a wonderful job at what it is meant to do. We use it for hard floors with pet hair. For that, I would give it 5 stars. I have only had it a couple of weeks, so no comment about durability. The review would be zero stars if I could rate the ease of use and customer service. We bought a refurbished machine from Sirena online. The… Read more

first time we tried to use it, the power hose was impossible to connect. It was plain to see that the power plug inside the main unit was sitting too high to connect with the plug on the power hose. I called Sirena and the man I spoke with was abrupt with me. He said, "Our vacuums are all checked. It will work. Just keep trying.Take it to an electric company. They will help you connect it." My husband and I both tried for several times more. We even tried to gently reposition the plug inside the unit, to no avail. We finally took it to a local vacuum repair shop and paid over $70. to get it worked on. The man at the repair shop confirmed that the plug inside the unit was sitting too high to connect. He worked on it quite a while and finally got it to a point where I can connect it. I still have to manually push it into a better position to plug but can connect it after some effort and several tries. Today, I was using the vacuum, and the face plate on the bottom of the floor power attachment suddenly fell off. I worked for probably 25 minutes to get the belt back on, the brush into place, and then futile attempts to get the face plate back on. When my husband got home, he messed with it another 15 minutes or so. We discovered that a screw was in a position to keep the face plate from going back on easily. You have to strong-arm it into position. I cannot do it, but my husband can with some effort. All of the attachments are difficult to take off and put on. The separator is very difficult to get clean with the brush they provide. I bought a baby toothbrush and can more easily get into the separator to clean it. In addition, the unit is very heavy. With all the effort and trouble, as I said, I love the effectiveness of the unit. However, we will need another vacuum for small, quick jobs as the Sirena is far too much trouble to use for short jobs.

Terrible all around – I’ve had nothing but issues with my vacuum. Within months the wheels broke, along with the clasps, the power nozzle works sometimes… and of course, none of this is actually covered under their warranty. When I called the 613 number listed, the guy was sarcastic and rude. Also, it develops a musty odor that does not go away. After changing the… Read more

filter several times it still smells awful. i was told to buy a new basin. overall, i hate this vacuum!! It is inconvenient to have to fill and empty the water each time i want to use it. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS!

Falls apart, cheaply made – I wish they would make this vacuum more durable. I love this vacuum by it falls apart all the time. Vacuum hose has come apart twice. I had to buy a new one and within a month that fell apart. Clips on the side have broken twice and I’m currently using it with just one clip. Just very cheaply made unfortunately. Very frustrating. If they improved the quality I’d buy it again. Show details

Almost one year out – I've had my Serina water vac for almost a year....it's not quite as user friendly as my rainbow but the price is much better...I have noted 2 design flaws that should be addressed.....first, the carpet attachment will not stand alone...it always falls over....and second, the filter on the separator is entirely too difficult to remove and clean....even after I finally found the little tool hidden underneath...it does clean very well, however.... Show details

Warranty issues – My vacuum worked great for 3 1/2 years no complains. But now its giving me problems and I have to pay over $200 to send it back because shipping is not included in the warranty. That's what they told me, so just be aware of that if you decide to purchase this vacuum. Show details

DON’T buy one! – Worst $800 bucks I’ve ever spent! Don’t fall for the return policy. It costs $200 bucks to send it back. It is extremely heavy and awkward. Not easy to store and use on multi levels. Wish I had just bought a simplicity vacuum instead. Show details

Horrible Customer Service/Cheaply made – If you are comparing to a Rainbow, it does not Compare. It is cheaply made I have used it 2 times and the plastic ring that goes around the extension wand broke off, it covered the hole and now I have to hold my finger over it to get suction. I called and spoke to [Name Removed] RUDE.. No help at all, I asked him to help me trouble shoot why there… Read more

is little suctions, and he could not help me he told me to take a picture and send it to them "Okay" I was trying to explain it to him, he didn't want to listen or help in anyway. Don't waste your money, I paid $799. I was being cheap and should have bought the Rainbow that I know worked. Now I have an $800.00 Vacuum that won't work, I can't use it, and 0 support... DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

Unreliable machine, terrible customer service – I was excited when I first purchased my refurbished unit due to the affordability of the water vacuum technology. It worked well for the first couple months and I would have left a 5 star review after initial use. I even gave away my reliable Dyson. However, after only a couple months of light use, it stopped turning on without any warning. I… Read more

contacted customer service and, after several aggravating interactions with the rep, I was able to have it "repaired" under warranty. When my unit was returned, they would not tell me what they did to repair it and it still did not turn on reliably. Sometimes, I would be able to get it to work (less than 25% of the time), but then it would stop working when I plugged it in to a different outlet. It is now completely dead, my warranty has since lapsed and I am not confident that paying the $189 to have it repaired will make any difference. Local vendors have reported similiar difficulties in working with this company. After looking more thoroughly through product reviews on the Sirena website, many of the initial 5 star ratings are duplicates and names do not match, which seems a little suspicious to me.

Horrible customer service!! – Had it for just over a year, worked for about 11 months. Just stopped working one day. Called customer service got a different amount of how much it would cost to ship it out. Told they would send us a trouble shooting video. Have been waiting 2 months for it & still nothing. I’ve used it for my wooden floors as well as carpet. Worked great till it just stopped working!! Show details

Beware! – Vacuum works equivalent to a rainbow until it doesn't work! It is of poor construction. As other reviewers note it breaks very easily. Within months with normal use by an adult, the latch had broken and the cord had a short. Several weeks after the short appeared it would no longer turn on. Customer service is as poor as it can get. After months… Read more

of dealing with a rep named [Name Removed], I still have a non functioning vacuum. He has given so many different versions of their repair/return warranty. First it was free to return. No label ever came. Then it was $170 to return for repair. After arguing that he initially put into an email that it would be free he offered a discounted return rate of $79.99. On top of this he was one of the rudest customer service reps either my husband or myself has ever had the displeasure of dealing with. He argued that there was no proof we had even purchased the system new from his company. After a year I obviously no longer had an order number. I only had a bank statement showing the purchase price to sirena. Upon hearing that I ultimately had proof he suddenly found my name in his system. There was no apology for the numerous unanswered emails which ultimately put our vacuum over the 1 year mark. At one point he argued that our vacuum was 2½ years old! We realized that the repair center was located a few miles from my husband's out of town office so we opted to not ship it but instead return it in person. Upon reaching out to the authorized repair center we were informed that "free" repairs now cost $79.99 because of "costs". This is ironically the same price that [Name Removed] offered as a "discounted" shipping fee. It seems that ultimately the shipping was going to be free but the "free" repairs offered by sirena are actually no longer free. This at the very least is a shady way of doing business in my opinion. Long story short the vacuum doesn't hold up and the customer service is worse than the product(specifically [Name Removed]). This is too expensive a product to be having such problems early on and to have worse customer service. As the former owner of a rainbow for 22 years, I say do yourself a favor and purchase a rainbow on a payment plan or used. You will never regret that decision. As it stands I have a 1 year old $1000 vacuum cleaner that won't even turn on. I so wish I'd put that 1K back into a reputable company(Rainbow).

Worst Customer Service and Junky Machine – The Sirena vacuum breaks super quickly, doesn't suction well, and there's no one to talk to to honor the warrantee. It also bumps into walls and furniture with its sharp edges and scratches everything. Bad buy. Show details

Terrible vacuum – Bought this vacuum less then a year ago. I have had to send it to be fixed many times. The unit sounds worse then it did before they “fixed it”. The only thing I’m told they can do is have me send it back and have them fix it. But each time I get it back it’s worse then before. I asked for either a new unit or a refund. They won’t do it they want… Read more

me to keep packing it up and taking it to fedex. It’s not easy nor light for someone who had back surgery recently but I need a vacuum and I spent a lot of money on this one. So word of advise don’t buy this vacuum it works really well until it doesn’t and they won’t do anything about it.

Exceeded my expectations – The quality of this product is amazing, I didn't expect this great quality from a product manufactured in China. After using a vacuum cleaner with a water-based filtration system, I will never be able to understand why all vacuum cleaners aren't water based. It's great for clearing cobwebs as well and the accessories are beautifully made.  Show reply
