Made a booking which I had to cancel literally only 30 minutes later due to inaccurate information provided by the company. They still charged a 10% cancellation fee due to their own error. Shonky.

Made a booking for later in the week and then was contacted that I needed a council permit which was $230 so I asked to cancel my booking as it was more expensive than other quotes and I was told it was a $60 cancellation fee although I had only booked 2 hours earlier online. Be careful to check terms and conditions or they will keep your money

when booking online, a supplier is allocated to the job and each supplier charges their own council permit costs. Accordingly, whilst named “Skip Bins Online”, Emily explained if you want a good price on a permit, then you should call to request the best council permit price and don’t recommend booking using their online system. However, please note that they do not provide proof of the permit and if you require a copy, you’ll have to request this from the supplier directly.

For a subsequent job, they tried to charge a ridiculous amount for council permit ($198 x 2 for two weeks) and couldn’t assure us they would get the correct size or show us proof of permit. Accordingly, as we did not feel comfortable that the skip bin would be placed legally on council property without a permit, we decided to cancel our job within an hour of booking online. They then proceeded to enforce their 10% cancellation fee, despite not providing any services and charging permits without evidence they were obtained.

Following several phone call and emails, we requested they waive the 10% cancellation. After escalation to the manager, Skip Bins Online waived the cancellation fee and offered a further $100 off from a previously paid permit. The manager acknowledged the mistake and offered an apology.

However, given Skip Bins Online is “only a booking agency”, we suggest contacting suppliers directly and do not recommend using this service. You’ll find it much cheaper and more reliable from other skip suppliers.

Will NEVER use again – Have used this Company 3 times, driver came to pick up bin and said it was too full, then proceeded to throw the contents all over my driveway. I had to pay another $50. Won't be using them again.

STAY WELL AWAY – Provided everything apart from a bin. Rang and was told to sue them. STAY WELL AWAY, plenty of great providers out there. Always check reviews and if in doubt stay well away.

Bad mob don't use them – I hired 2 bins and they had 7 days of hire, i rang them to tell them i had trouble and the contractor that was filling the bins were delayed and that i needed to extend the hire time and was told it would cost $15 a day or were $65 for an extra week, they came and picked up the empty bins on the 7th day, didn't contact me over picking up the empty… Read more

I rang and they had a record of me ring to extend the hire but said i didn't get them the exact pick day so they just came and took them empty. i lost $600 and all they offered was $25 off the next bin hire, it was up to me to keep chasing them, worst mob i have delt with ever. It turns out they use other company bins, they don't own any bins them self.

Do not use a third party! – Had several bins through this company, and have literally always had issues with collection. The prices are cheap, but prepared to wait over a week from requested collection date. They are a middle man and have literally no control over the suppliers.

Unprofessional, terrible service and no customer service skills – As the old saying goes, you pay for what you get! Do yourself a favour and don’t use this organisation. what or who will be delivering the skip bin. Unfortunately, I was provided with an amateur that managed to damage my property on pick up. It took 2 months for the repairs to be completed. During this time numerous hours were spent constantly requesting updates regarding the repairs whilst being subjected to verbal and written abuse on the phone and via email. I was never given an apology for the stress and inconvenience caused and responsibility was never accepted for their negligence. Please check other websites for complaints from other unhappy customers. Most have a defensive reply made to the complaint, which speaks volumes in itself!

Poor customer service, unable to complete order on time – Poor customer service, chased them multiple times with no response; and were unable to complete the order on time, bin picked up over a week later than requested. Avoid them!!!

Awesome service from beginning to end – So happy with whole experience of hiring my skip bin. Highly recommend and will definitely use again. Thank you so much for the awesome customer service during booking process and then on delivery and pick up.

Terrible Service – Very bad experience . I hired a bin and at end of day they send me SMS that they cannot deliver.They subcontract the work out to other business who are very rude and do not know service quality.

collect as it was all done for us, unlike other companies who didn't collect for a week and other businesses had added their rubbish to our bin.

They were thorough in their recommendations and we got exactly what we needed. The Bin filled quickly and they were able to provide us with another in a quick time-frame. Treated us professionally and also gave a better rate than a Local Company.

Now have other Services using them as well!

Can not trust what they say over the phone – Myself and my husband have now dealt with this business 4 times in last 6 months. each and every time they let us down by quoteing us the wrong specs for the ski bins required. BE WARNED, they are a booking agent and they generally charge between $75 and $125 more than what you will pay had you called the companies directlly. the 1 ladies i deal with always pretended to be nice and friendly but you can always see through it. they rush you on the phone and dont want to help you once the sale is made. DO NOT USE THIS business.
