Sleeping Duck only to find that it was not a scam but part of an “internal procedure”. They had our money, knew who we are and where we live. There had been no mention of this ludicrous requirement at time of purchase. We had to comply or the order would be cancelled and money refunded. We had gone to a considerable effort to prepare for the bed’s delivery. We cancelled, money was refunded. We now have a lovely Koala bed. Delivered without any stress or breach of our privacy. Buyer beware.

After completing my 100-night trial, I can confidently say I'm incredibly happy with my new mattress! Initially, I chose the medium firmness, which was comfortable, but I noticed some motion transfer from my partner. This was a key concern for me. I would never have thought after buying 4 mattresses in two and a half years, that one online purchase would solve everything in one go! Especially the follow up topper service! And cheap compared to the others I've tried! Thank You SD! Show reply

The mattresses are amazing. The rest is 'meh' – We love our Sleeping Duck mattresses. We have 4 of them and have recommended them to others, who have tried them out and also decided they make a fantastic mattress. Support has always been friendly and accommodating. of the customer. It always seems to be about what products they need to either get rid of or attract more customers to. With 4 mattresses, we don't need yet another mattress multi-buy offer. With limited shipping of their bed product - which we can't receive - we don't need to be targeted for a bed deal. Their sales are completely pointless for us. Be smarter with your sales! I've complained to them directly about this - I hope someone finally listens.

Secondly, keep some sheets in stock! They are constantly out of stock of the sheets colours and sizes we want. Their inventory management on this is so bad that we've just ended up buying elsewhere.

Buy their mattresses and enjoy, but then don't get caught up in their "sales".

Great mattress – Customer service was amazing when I required a firmness adjustment. Staff were helpful, change in firmness was delivered quickly and was easy to install. BEFORE YOU PURCHASE FROM THIS BRAND – Please read to the end, cos theres a lot of good with the terrible outcome. We went to the store in Prahran to try the bed out first. The staff there were great and we purchased on the spot a king half n half and a king wooden frame with headboard. from a random number while in an online work brief (NO TEXT/EMAIL/DOORKNOCK). i called back but no response (happy to provide call logs). My wife was here, but again no knock. -I recieved a text backat 9:45 from a different number again saying the driver is at my address now and cant wait more than 5 minutes. at this point i ring again, this time using the other random but similar phone number from the second call- and it wont ring. I keep trying, and check my driveway. No one is there. - I then ring the 1800 number and am told that the delivery team cant redeliver. not even 14 minutes after they say they have arrived (but had already actually left).

Im waiting now for a call back but thus far as far as im told they have only offered refund.

Aside from this which im sure wont happen to all of you, it's important to know that Sleeping Duck will not take away your old bed like all the other brands will, Unless you pay $300! yes, they say $99, but you cant access this $99 price without also paying for their 'white gloves service' which you'd think was building the bed for you, but its actually the same as the free service- they just bring the boxes inside for you.

So knowing all this we booked a free hard rubbish collection as per the advice of the Sleeping Duck team.

We have slept last night on a camping stretcher as Glen Eira Council pick up hard rubbish on Friday Mornings (6-8am) and trash needs to go out the day before. So we have no bed, and only an offer of our $4399 deposit back.

In the store the beds seemed good, but for this money honestly I would save $1.5-$2k total go with another brand who wont leave you high and dry with a shrug.

I have no idea how long we will be sleeping on a metal frame stretcher now while i do all this again, absolutely irate.

Excellent – We purchased our SD bed and frame in 2020, it truly is the most comfortable mattress to sleep on. We recently contacted SD regarding changing from a medium to a soft just on one side and spoke with Kim who was absolutely amazing, she went through all of our issues and advised the best way to proceed, life happens and we did not immediately proceed… Read more

with the change over and when I called today to organise for the change over, Kim advised that she would send the pieces we require out for free. OMG such customer service like this is rarely heard of these days !! What a fab company Sleeping Duck are, I truly recommend anyone give these mattresses a try, you will not be disappointed with their products or serive. Thank you again Kim.

No Delivery Possible – The review is for the company policy of restricting the areas to which they will deliver.
