Ok.. 30 years later I am fed up with my mattress I bought from sleep city.. where I worked. Posturpedic, Slumberzone it was great..but I have not slept well in years. So I was buying online. Changed my mind. Instead I bought my daughter’s unused mattress into my room.. she’s since married. I am using her Sleepmaker Dream Essentials Spine… Read more

One big spring sticking out on the edge of the mattress after 4 years later – We were find out all over this year one big spring is sticking out on the edge of the mattress. Now we try to get the warranty to do something but is too late. because this out of the warranty. so what is important when you buying a bed, not about the bed but the warranty, because you will never know why the bed only has 5 years warranty. now i have to sleep on the sticking our spring mattress. Thanks to sleepyhead.

Never again! i wish i read the reviews before – bought for $1800 to support local made. bought in 2011. in 2012 it was sagging. I rang for a warranty job. I had a person that came to my house and told me the nothing is wrong with it. me and wife know it was sagging and we can feel it. eventually after lots of arguing he agreed to take the mattress after I had to pay $100 for delivery. got… Read more

the mattress back after 2 weeks and I'll put my house on it that nothing was done to it.

rang the company again in Oct 2013 has it got really bad. new owner for the company. this time we had to take photos of a broom stick on my bed.it is obvious from the pic the space between the broom stick and the matt that it is sagging. but their "specialist" can tell from looking at the pics via email that it is just natural reshaping of the matt.

every friend we allowed to try the mattress said it is sagging!

I doubt anyone will ever get a job repaired under warranty.

I guess the only thing I can do now is buy a new one and it wont be a sleep maker.

I also work in relocation services and buy a lot of furniture for clients. I will never buy a mattress of sleep maker for any of the clients. nothing. warrenty is only a piece of paper

Short life for mattress – Comfortable for the first 2 years max. After that it has gotten progressively worse. Could not sleep in this bed at all while pregnant. I used to wake up in excruciating pain. Originally put it down to pregnancy but it's been a while after bub now and still can't sleep due to the back and hip pain. I get a better night sleep on the lounge. It is… Read more

now about 5 years old and we are about to buy a new mattress. Disappointing because our last mattress was about 12 years old and still comfortable.

The mattress has permanent indentation where we sleep and if you move out of is st you end up rolling back in. Feels like sleeping on uneven ground. Sometimes feel I am sleeping on the floor. Can't feel partner move Pain, not comfortable, feel like sleeping on the hard ground.

a dream bed – We love it ! It's like sleeping on a fluffy cloud ! Definitely the most comfortable bed we've ever had and still going strong after 5 years . We usually buy a new mattress every 5 years, but we don;t need to do that with this one and we don't want to either ! I just with we could have found something like this at the start of our married life. so very comfortable.

Terrible – 6 months after buying this mattress we had both developed back problems. Snooze actually recommended this mattress to us using their Kingsdown computer system...now its our fault for choosing the wrong mattress. The memory foam has degraded in the spots that we sleep, so if you lie on one edge of the bed and roll to the other you feel two deep… Read more

holes and a ridge in the middle. The ridge is still nice and supportive but you feel like your trying to sleep on a balance beam. The best part? After you get off the bed the memory foam puffs back up and you can't see where the holes are. And unless they are 3 cm deep Sleepmaker says there is nothing wrong. We keep being told "that is what memory foam does, it takes on your body impression during the night and then goes back to normal in the hours after you get up." But those unsupportive holes where we sleep never actually go away, you always feel them even though the top of the mattress looks flat.

Our new mattress arrives tomorrow. I will never buy sleepmaker or anything memory foam again, we have bought a "Sleepyhead" one this time, its Australian made and supposedly one of the best with customer service.

I am very dubious of the "chiropractor" who says he is heavy and this is the best bed he has ever had...my husband and I are both fit and slim and if we have holes in our mattress how could he not? We had a cheap mattress before this one and never had back problems with that. DO NOT BUY this mattress, I can guarantee you will have problems! Great for the kids to jump on when you throw it away! Where do I start....we have it in king size, I cringe to think about how much money we spent on it. Pressure relief? Yes because sleeping in a hole takes the pressure off...to the point where there is no support at all. Sleepmaker do not want to know about any of it. 10 year warranty? Yes they will have a look at it, but first we have to pay to have it sanitised, then ship it at our cost to Brisbane. If they decide there isn't anything wrong (they have already told us on the phone that these mattresses are supposed to do what ours has done and it won't be covered) we can either pay to have new foam put in or just pay to have it sent back. And there is no loaner mattress if you decide to do that.

Terrible – Great store feel. Lying on it initially feels good. But for the last two years I've been waking up with an aching back, and I've NEVER had any back problems. I'm a fit healthy 28 yr old and this mattress is making me wake up and feel like I'm about 60. I sleep on my stomach and this mattress is giving me no support at all. Terrible – Dont buy Visco or latex too much money to waste. Should last 10 years LIKE THE SO CALLED WARRENTY IS FOR not 10 MONTHS!I am devastated that we are forced to sleep on it making my bad back worse every day until we can save to get rid of it...it has made me scared of buying another lemon though! of not feeling eachother tossing and turning. I wake up aching, more sore than before I go to bed and in less than 2years it has sagged & we are both sleeping in holes with a raised up lump in the middle, can't flip the bed. We even went as far as paying to have it sent back to check it as it is under warranty just to be told it is normal...and we spent over $2000 for a mattress thats stuffed and we are stuck with untill we can afford a new one.

Some like it hot – Have had this mattress for four years. Felt OK at first, but VERY hot to sleep on - we actually had to go out and buy a ceiling fan! Now we sleep in hollows as the foam has degraded to the point where we will have to buy a new mattress. The 'warranty' states that body impressions are not a manufacturing fault and that it is normal for the… Read more

Too hot to handle – Got it at a seconds discount house probably due to bad press its received and offered a trial week to keep or return, but brought in winter. or heavy people and it gives us good support, but we are dreading approaching summer nights. Have heard horror stories of night sweats, broken sleep (what's new) skin irritations, mold forming due to sweat build-up. Called the store to complain and discuss what options we have. Left a message 4 days ago and received a promise they would call back - have not received a reply. Not good but won't let them beat me. Currently trying woolen blankets under thin mattress protector. So far 1st night ok. Don't like idea of having to regularly wash wool blankets though. Have read that wool fibers allow air to circulate and reduces body surface area contact to encasing effect of the mattress' top layer. To my surprise I discovered the Dunlopillo Coolmax mattress protector as a possible solution. Claims to be ideal for Latex and Memory beds - increases air circulation and draws heat and moisture away. Have not seen any reviews and would like more info before committing. It looks like a possible solution - Manufacture must have the gilts. Light, supportive, comfortable Heat build up, loss of sleep and fatigue - product obviously not fit for purpose - Sleep!.

No sagging where i sleep like the previous spring mattresses i have had.By far gthe most awesome bed i have ever had. I am a back care specialist and recommend it to all my patients. I am dubious about the motives of the previous reviews. They must have a completely different product to ours. We have the sleepmaker visco and we love it.We at Bunbury and busselton Myopractic recommend it to all our clients suffering from back and neck pain. Nothing really. Can be slightly warm on the hottest nights. This is barely noticeable as the comfort is so awesome.

Terrible – Most uncompfortable matress we've ever sleeped in. We roll and sink into the middle of the bed, and it's not our weight. We've woken up with back aches for 2 years becuase of this matress, and sometimes resort to sleeping on our couch. I have contacted sleepmaker several times with no action. None at all Feels like you have been sucked into a foam pit.

OK – Still not too sure. It is much softer than I would normally prefer as I have since learned body heat softens it. Kinda feel I am not getting supported.
