Sleepy Wings Wraps

Pretty good for cooler weather – Great alternative to the Love to Dream swaddle suits as I wanted to transition my baby into sleeping bags for winter, but was worried he would overheat wearing the love to dream and bag. Very easy to use, especially when traveling as it easily hooks around the arms and can transfer baby between car and pram. I found the elastic way too tight… Read more
and spend a while really stretching them out as I felt they were way too constricting- now they are perfect.
Would be good to have a summer weight style as they would be way too thick for summer.
Good idea, and so far has been a successful sleep tool. Recommended.
Not suitable for summer – Great idea and it worked well until the weather warmed up. The moment I put baby in her wings she started sweating - obviously very dangerous to over heat a baby. Would recommend this only if you're using it during winter. Would love to see a summer version with lighter material.
Too tight even though correct size – I was excited to try the sleepy wings with the sleeping bags I have. I had been using the love to dream swaddles but was worried that my baby was getting too hot. when I put the sleepy wings on my baby it was very tight and dug into the back of her neck and under her arms. She started crying and looked very uncomfortable. She is 5 weeks old and… Read more
4.5kg so I bought the small which says for 4-6kg so it's not that I bought the wrong size. I feel like it was a waste of money and won't be using it.
Sleepy Wings A+ for babies sleep! – I just wanted to let you know that I am a first time mum and Sleepy Wings have been the best thing I have ever come across!! They were like a magic potion for sleep and worked just as well in the cot, pram or capsule. Also when I left my little one with anyone else (including her dad) no one could wrap her properly but everyone can pop on the Sleepy Wings and off to sleep she would go - so, so easy. The only way to settle my baby
Thought they were good but will NEVER use again!! – I found my 9 month old daughter screaming in her cot as these wings had been pulled up and over her head and were totally covering her face!!! I almost died and will never be using them again. She had obviously lifted her arms up to a point where the swaddle could get up and over her head slightly, then come back down over her face as she moved… Read more
her arms down!
I thought they were too good to be true and that they needed some sort of positioning/securing device under the legs and now I'm convinced that is what they need! Buy a Love to Dream Swadde - so much safer given my recent experience and they offer the same benefits. I'm going to report my experience to the relevant authority as well.. Not safe at all. Nothing now.. Safety is a real concern given my daughter could have suffocated!
Sleepy wings settles instantly! – [url removed] are an australian design that is similar to a love to dream wrap me up where the baby can have their arms above next to their ears buts sleepy wings are just for the arms. Its stops the startle reflex anc allows long and peacful sleep for baby. You can just use them to swaddle/settle in hot weather as they are just on the arms or… Read more
can be used with a sleeping bag when no longer swaddling. These are by far the best thing i have bought and will use for future kids. You wont regret it. Quick settling of baby, great use in hot weather and cold with sleeping bag. can use in the car seat without taking off
As good as love to dream – My bub has only used the sleepy wings for a few nights and she sleeps just as well as the love to dream swaddles. I can keep her in a singlet and nappy on hot nights or a gro bag on cooler nights. We haven't been successful with the dummy holder, I can't seem to get them in right.
A good nights sleep! – We were using Love To Dream, but my son was outgrowing this and as he was nearly one, I didn't want to spend another $70. We had tried not to wrap and we were up all night! These are just as good as the Love to Dream swaddles! Hopefully he will transition alot better from this to no swaddle at all! Sleeps really well. Can still get about and stand… Read more
up in his cot even when wearing them. When he gets really upset, he moves his arms alot and ends up getting a little tangled.
Great product especially if use sleeping bags – Great addition to a sleeping bag. In winter I like to use the grobags as they keep bub a lot warmer and allow free movement. The sleepy wings give you the benefit of A) keeping arms warm as well as B) preventing startles king up from startle response. Ive recommended this product to a few friends and had a few comments from nurses when they… Read more
saw the wings after a recent hospital admission.
Well recommended Compliment sleeping bags Added expense of $30 on top of bag cost
Easy to use and works – My sleepy wings are well made and DS is comfortable wearing them. He also looks adorable with them on. He has a good sleep (as good as if wearing his "love to swaddle) and I like that his legs are free to relax out into their natural sleeping position. Recommended! Sleep with legs in natural position.
