This BBQ looks good on paper but is clearly plagued with quality issues. I bought it in January - the first unit had a faulty burner out of the box. The replacement finally arrived weeks later… and then the light assembly failed the very first time I used it. It's a sealed unit, not just a bulb, and can't be replaced easily. Arisit, the distributor, refuses to honour the warranty — calling it a "consumable" despite it failing instantly. They've ignored multiple emails and phone follow-ups. I’ve now had to escalate the issue to NSW Fair Trading just to get a resolution.
For a BBQ that costs $1700, the build quality is completely underwhelming and the support is nonexistent. Two faulty units in a row. Don't be fooled by the specs - there are better options out there with real support behind them.
Purchased in for $1,700.
So far so good – So far so good. Only had it a few weeks seems pretty good overall. constructions a little light on and could be better but for the price it’s not too bad at all.

0 stars – Same experience as Patrick. Bbq bows at front and back. Flame tamers fall in. Hotplates started to fall in as well. All within 3 months. Product not fit for purpose. Eventually got a refund. Hard to see in photo but centre bbq plate about to fall In. Both grill plates on outside are as far forward in the front corners as possible.

Poor Quality, Distorted badly on first usages, Hood yellowing after 1st month. Grills very rough – Very disappointed in this BBQ. I bought it sight unseen as I wanted something similar to my 13 year old EuroGrand (Ebay purchase around $600 delivered!), Basically Enamel cast iron grills, in an SS body, double skinned hood, large work area, rotisserie and rear burner. It looked ok and experience says you don't need to spend a gazillion to good a good BBQ.
Boy was I wrong.
After months of waiting for cabinetry and my Plumber I finally used for the first time in February 2017.
First week of usage I noticed the BBQ had bowed, it had opened up so much the Flame tamers were now too short to stay in place. The Grill plates are now about 1mm short of falling in!.
The Hood has discolored, its Yellow!
The grills are so rough that meat sticks to it, (regardless of how oiled it is) to the point that the meat charcoals, leaving burnt lines in your steak. (Cooking slower at lower heat results in the same issue, with drier meat, rare middles, etc) It's just all wrong. I cannot achieve a decent flavour, it's always either burnt on the outside, tasting poorly or raw in the middle and grey. I Never had these issues. The cast iron enamel grill on the Eurogrand are thicker, smoother, the meat does not burn on contact., It can be properly grilled.
Considering it has 6 SS burners I expected a more even heat, but it's not any better then the old Eurogrand with 5 larger cast Iron Burners.
The BBQ is under cover, and I do cover it so I have not seen any rust spots, but I don't trust it. The SS is flimsy and hood twists unless you use 2 hands to open it.
My Old EuroGrand (that I still use regularly, and I mean 3 to 4 times a week) Still looks great, cooks great, has not discolored, minimal distortion (some is normal and expected), and deliverers a flavor that is unbeatable.
As its a built in unit (I had a custom made cabinet made with stone) I am in big trouble, I can't find anything to fit in its place to replace it.
Big Mistake.
PS Ariston are going to send a replacement, I doubt it will be better.
