Smart BBQ 5 Burner with Trolley LS720 0142

Great start, didn't last long – When you spend $1000's on a BBQ you expect it last quite a long time, my previous $400 Jackaroo BBQ lasted probably 10 yrs. This "Smart" BBQ lasted 2.5yrs before the first burner rusted out. I believe i take quite good care of items like this BBQ, cleaning it on a regular basis, always covered, but obviously grease etc dripped onto a burner over time and when i cleaned it, noticed that the burner was rusting as was the one next to it. Next time i used the flame burnt through the rust and the burner was unusable. As it was 2.5yrs old, no warranty left, spoke to Arisit, they gave me the part number for a burner $15, but none in stock, i asked them to order 2, no response, emailed, response was yes we will order. After 2 mths pas, phone calls and emails, yes we will order, 10 months later no response. Gave up. Saved up for a Zieger and Brown Elite from BBQ Galore, used twice, noticed hood wasn't sitting correct, they have already logged a service call and told me a replacement hood would be sent out soon. Arisit customer service 0, BBQ galore, seems great so far (wait and see what happens with the hood). But when you spend $2,400 as in for the Smart BBQ you would expect parts to be available locally. I do not recommend this BBQ. It gets 1 star ONLY because the stainless steel is great.

Greatest BBQ – I have owned a Smart BBQ for 11 years and it is still like new. Amazing because I dont look after it very much. My oldest son also has one which he bought and I just bought one for my other son. SO THEY MUST BE GOOD. JUST THE BEST in my opinion ❤❤❤❤❤

Great bbq, pity about the after sales – The bbq works well. I broke a part during assembly. I was told by tech dept that it couldn't be fixed. I fixed it for $4-95. They just could not be bothered with my problem. Good product but terrible after sales service. They have lost a few sales already so they really need to update their tech department. 4 for bbq and 1 for service.

Avoid – Avoid this BQQ. It's rubbish. I purchased one a year ago. I returned it twice in the first month as the first 2 were delivered with dents and poor build quality. The third I kept as I couldn't be bothered going through the hassle of returning it again. Problems? The welds under the hood broke within days. One of the gas fittings leaked (on one of the returned units). When converted to natural gas the fittings broke, and now (on natural gas) the flow rate is so low it is hard to heat up. The starters only work in 2 of the burners, and there is a huge heat discrepency across the hot plate.
A BBQ doesn't need to do much: start and cook, but this struggles with both.
Avoid, avoid, avoid. A huge disappointment.
Great BBQ – Very good little BBQ. Received a fantastic Avanti Pizza Stone with it and this has made it the best BBQ I have had. Oven works a treat and rotisserie is good as well. The stainless is clearly a good quality and as I live fairly close to the beach this is a must. Cannot fault it. Reliable and easy to use. First burner takes a little while for the gas to fully light but not a major drama
