about 4.5 months, from pegging to a beautiful landscaping. During the whole process, I did not get involved too much. Any concern I might have is addressed straight away.

During the regular and final checks I took my trusted friend with me since I am not in the building industry and he has well over 20 years of building experiences. Each time he gave his thumb up and he is also very impressed by the workmanship and material quality.

Smart Choice and GrannyFlatApprovals also take care the best interest of their clients. When they design and build, they have your core interest at their heart. At one stage, I insisted to have certain changes against their suggestion and it approved that I was wrong.

knew exactly what I was paying for because every item and upgrade was itemised prior to us handing over our hard earned cash. This meant that I was able to balance the build against my budget, and at know stage was I left with a nasty shock to the hip pocket.

For those who are curious, strictly looking at the building cost. We built a 60sqm, brick, Colorbond roofing, covered patio, fairly high spec’d granny flat with many upgrades for a total cost of $128072.72. This flat has now been rented with zero vacancies for the last 18 months at $450.00 a week.

At start of build (Mid Oct) it was not sure if build will get completed before Christmas but site Project Manager Struat and office Admin Chris not only ensured build got completed by Christmas but they were very quick to respond to any issues or change requests. through the process the office staff, especially Chris and Suzanne were prompt and courteous replying to my questions. The end result is outstanding and complements the space available. From the start, their design team, MR. Faraj has patiently explained the whole process, and helped us finished the design work and then the smart Choice builder team finished all the build work in less than 4 months. They have done the perfect job and the job has been finished with the highest quality. All the staff in the builder team are all very responsible and are always keen to help, especial the site supervisor Justin Reece, and the Office team: MS. Belinda Griffiths, MR. Chris Chien. Whenever we found any job that has not been done good enough, they always tried to arrange the rework until we are satisfied. Besides, Justin Reece has arranged the rework for the job which we thought were OK. Therefore the whole job has been done beyond our expectations, and we pay just the amount listed by the build contact, no any extra cost. June 24th 2018 Update: Excellent Post Sale service

Smart Choice Granny Flats not only finishes the build job to the highest standards but also offers excellent post sale services. I have lived in my granny flat built by the Smart Choice Granny Flats for 6 months, last week, the smoke alarm device installed in the granny flat started intermittent beeping (or chirping). I have no idea what was wrong? I called the Smart Choice Granny Flats' customer officer Mr. Chris Chien, after I explained what had got wrong, he replied me that Smart Choice Granny Flats would surely help me solve the problem, he suggested me to change the battery first even if the existing battery is new, if the problem still exists, he will send their electrician to install a new smoke alarm device for me. I followed his advice and after changing the battery, the beeping (chirping) stops. I highly recommend the post service from the Smart Choice Granny Flats. Helping customers very responsively even after the build job has been finished for a long time. I rate the Smart Choice Granny Flats' post sale customer service with 5 stars!!!
