Grannyflat for family
From the start Justin was open honest and understanding to my needs and budget, from 1st site meeting to when work begun Grant and the team and the back up support took as much stress that happens with communication and can do attitude, building always has small issues weather etc coordination is never easy , but these guys did a amazing job from when site prepared and slab put down time flies and completed work was done ahead of schedule which was awesome great company and reliable team behind them .

Very professional and friendly
We were looking for builders for a while and none stood out as much as smart choice granny flat team. We felt comfortable from the get go and they were always friendly and accommodating from beginning of the build till the end. As it was our first grannyflat we knew nothing but the team helped us through the process and were very transparent with materials and cost in order for it to fit into our budget. I am very happy with Smart Choice for the building of my first granny flat. Their team is a very efficient and clean.
When I asked my experienced property rental manager about how long the construction might take, he said from his big rental roll of granny flats, he has never seen anything less than 6 months. The Smart Choice team finished in about 4.5 months, from pegging to a beautiful landscaping. During the whole process, I did not get involved too much. We built a 60sqm, brick, Colorbond roofing, covered patio, fairly high spec’d granny flat with many upgrades for a total cost of $128072.72. We have been thinking to do Granny flat for last 2-3 years but after getting in touch with Smart choice Granny flat we got very clear and honest guidance from Firaz and Serge regarding design and site construction costs. Great but rare example of an honest builder
Smart Choice have proven to be great people to build with and we'd highly recommend them, particularly their site foreman Stuart Ferguson. We'd been considering building a granny flat for several years and after quite extensive research, the cost calculator got us across the line. Being able to see what the options and costs were meant we could select exactly the quality and finishes we wanted before starting the build. We have quite a difficult site, took a standard design and modified it so we could build a split-level granny flat to suit our block but it's been a great addition for our family.

Excellent timely communication & great build.
We knew nothing about building granny flats but we were in safe hands. From the site survey prior to the build, to post build, we received excellent support from all staff. This is our 2nd granny flat build with Smart Choice Granny Flats and have no regrets. We received updates & photos from the beginning & throughout the build. Any concerns were promptly addressed. Stunning two storey Grannyflat created by Smart Choice
SmartChoice Granny Flats delivered us a beautiful 2 storey grannyflat. I knew nothing about grannyflats when I first spoke to Faraj at SmartChoice Grannyflats. He helped me through the whole design process suggesting what was best for our site. We then had the fantastic builder Stuart Ferguson who made sure everything went to plan.
