Absoolutely USELESS SERVICE. The system stopped working before Christmas and no service. NO HOT WATER FOR 2 WEEKS - all promises and YES YES YES. No actual help whatsoever. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. responsibility. Just false promises to respond usefully. Full of CRAP.The phone response makes promises, sends self help video that's for nothing related, requests for actual site service go unanswered / ignored. Shape shifted from mobile phone to WhatsApp help, then passed to another service person who's number rings out after leaving a message.
Had It installed few months ago, large capacity enough for 4 people but issue is that water temperature never reaches set temperature and always sits 4-5 dredges below. If you select 50 then, temperature will sit at 45. Have raised this with SPT and… Read more
Glower many times and they tried to help and gave up saying it’s normal and they can’t do anything. There is no app so you have to use a third party app which has many functions built in and apart from setting temperature and set timer rest are all useless. I should gone with some other brand that delivers what it says. App has multiple modes but late I was advised none of them are active.
Follow-up · I wasn’t not advised what modes are available but app showed 3 modes. When I contacted the manufacturer, that’s when they advised me that only one mode is available and nothing else. Got the SPT Dark Knight heat pump installed a few months back and I’ve been real happy with it. I’m a pensioner, so saving on the bills is a big plus. It runs quiet, and the water’s always hot, even early in the morning. Installation was quick, and it looks neat down the side of the house. Supply hot water efficiently and smoothly to entire household – It's a great heat pump system, but it could be better if the sound/noise of the motor be better insulated. Apart from the noise, it served our family well as we can adjust the heating temperature of the water, if we want to, and hot water seems running smoothly with 3 adults and 3 kids. Great performing heat pump, highly recommend! – Just had a 315L Dark Knight heat pump installed with a back up element can’t recommend enough! Product is well build, pretty quiet and really compliments the appearance of house! We have 5 people in the home and the systems never really run out of water yet 3 months in!
