another gas plumber to reinstall and test the heater, which worked perfectly with no leaks. I would suggest this company provides cheap and dodgey inspections in order to generate work for themselves. Stay away.

inspections that were invalid. they refused to refund prior inspection costs that were fraudulent and refused to cancel current fraudulent work that wasn't carried out.

Incompetent lying company stay away from them. Company cancelled on first appointment as technicians called in sick. Turned up early morning on second appointment instead of afternoon. would not return for the afternoon appointment. Two weeks in a row, my early morning Tuesday has been disrupted with no inspection completed. My privacy has been disturbed and it's now ongoing as real estate agent said I must let Smartercare inside even if I feel uncomfortable about them being a sham company. Smartercare can not be trusted to do as they say they are going to do. Possibly a sham company offering a sham service to bypass safety regulations for the agent and owner. Smartercare = Incompetent, rude, and untrustworthy.

Quote Australian standards in their reports ,but dont seem to understand them leading to false unsafe notices.

Zero support available from Accounts dept – Unable to contact Accounts dept. Up to day 4 trying to get in contact to have Account rectified. Just an answering machine and no reply call after 4 days. Regular team members have no access to Accounts = frustrating for customers. I've waster hours on this - so cop the complaint SmarterCare.

Smarter Care , thumbs down! – Had a ‘technician’ come to check the gas work. Was here no more than 10 minutes, Checked Stove, & ducted heating unit. (Both 6 months old) check was deemed fine. Electrician was suppose to arrive with the plumber but didn’t turn up. Now harassing me to reschedule.

I would avoid, but they seem to have deals with certain real estates to do these ‘ so called’ compliant checks for rentals.

their inspections, was now deemed Non-Compliant solely due to its location. Strangely, neither the gas pipework nor its surroundings have undergone any changes! The lack of a clear explanation regarding this supposed non-compliance only adds to the frustration.

If there have been no alterations to the gas pipework or its surroundings, how can its location suddenly be deemed hazardous? Furthermore, the report failed to provide any justification for this significant shift in evaluation, and my attempts to seek clarification through phone calls and emails have been met with silence. Instead, I received unsolicited quotes from them to address the issue.

This arbitrary classification without transparent reasoning undermines the credibility of their inspections. It instills a sense of distrust in the reliability of their assessments. If I am to believe their report for this year, it implies that their previous evaluations may have been flawed, potentially subjecting the house occupants to non-compliant and hazardous conditions for years!

Scam company – Agree with the other reviews that Smartercare attends your property without your authorisation by contacting your agent directly and pretending to have been hired by me, then sending invoice to property manager afterwards, all this time bypassing me. How is this even legal.
