I used a Breville Frother for years but it was inconsistent. I thought it was stuffed but it would always revive itself. I had the Aus frother which was quite good except it was hard to clean and then it caught on fire. I finally shelled out for the over priced Smeg frother. I have had problems with other Smeg products but this frother is the best I have had. It is stylish,solid and easy to clean. Has numerous settings which look alike especially if your vision is not real good. It produces a beautiful froth far superior to the Breville
Follow-up · The Smeg frother pours fine. It has 7 different settings which cover the temperature. There is no temperature setting like the Breville frother. The settings cover hot chocolate,hot milk,hot milk with light froth,hot milk with dense froth,cold milk with light froth, cold milk with dense froth and M for manual. The manual settings cover hot and cold and you can control temperature and time. Six of the settings are pictures of coffee mugs which look very similar and you need good eyes to discern the differences. I would like a few more lines on the pitcher to determine milk levels. The negative review of this frother makes me wonder if she had the settings set to cold because my review is the exact opposite of hers.

Hi this smeg milk frother is just a problem, it doesnt work properly in making your drinks hot and you will disappointed in the froth that it makes stay away with this appliance because at the end you cant make a hot coffee but a mess it stop and keep beffing in seconds you doing your hot drinks...Not worth buying and not recommended to anyone you will waste yout time only just what I did it just based in my honest experience...Please smeg check the quality of your product before you sell it into your costumer because you will leave one unhappy costumer now here because of the product unreliability.
I just contacted and emailed many times the smeg online sales and send their requested email that I need to reply days ago but they havent reply me back or resolve the problem...I just want a refund so that I can buy another frother from the other store which is easy to use and work properly.
