the power button is on with white light. But I cant select any programs to start the machine ( no white lights for all programs). What happen?

I tried and looks like it’s close and still only power button light on.
The door will not close or latch. The trays are fully in and nothing is obstructing the door or the bottom.
Dear Friyana M., Please check that the middle basket is level. If it's not, then the water feed doesn't engage properly which doesn't allow the door to close. Regards Smeg
DWAI6214X dishwasher. When power on, Red light comes on and won't go. Cannot start any washing cycles. What could be the issue.

Ive got the DWA6214X2 dishwasher and when I turned it on.the power button was blinking-thats it.no blinking light on the program for me to choose. We usually childlock our dishwasher so i tried to unlock it but nothing.also,i unplugged it from the source for an hour but when i turned it on, its jist the power button blinking?
Hold your finger on the button for a couple of seconds and see if that helps. That's what I have always had to do. I also have to do it for the power button

Issue with a DWA6214S2 control panel operates as normal - can select all modes etc - however "start" button will not actually start the machine. Could this be tied in to door switch etc - or would be actual start button/panel switch issue?? Again - all other buttons appear to operate fine as modes can be changed etc - just when you push the right side start button - machine does not spark into life. Your assistance/guidance would be appreciated.Mahmad

The dishwasher door does not close. How do i check what the problem is?
Hi Jim, Check that the top basket is level and not at an angle. This will prevent the water feed from engaging and preventing the door from closing. Regards Smeg
The top basket is level. I have taken the bottom basket out as well. The door seems to not be catching the latch - Part No 110341 & 110340

Dishwasher won’t stop draining, I have turned off at the wall and back on again. When I turn it on it beeps, the power button light comes on as well as the red one next to the handle.
The soak cycle flashes but the intense wash light stays on and it just keeps draining. Can’t change anything as it beeps then goes back to the same thing.

Hello, we have this dishwasher in our brand new home from last 2 months and i used it 3rd time. But i am unable to make it off. There is white light showing on the turn on button and a red light on the 5th option from left to right side which is for heat i think. But it is letting me start it again but i am unable to off it. Hi - my dishwasher isn't washing properly and sometimes stops mid cycle. there is nothing clogging it up in the filter. not sure what to do.
The door catch broke again. We had this repaired under builders warranty but its broken again! It seems some small plastic part breaks, preventing the door staying closed-making it useless. Is there replacement part? Is this a recurring fault? We can use it and would like to find a solution

I have used this dishwasher for only once. When I was planning to use it after 4 months, the power button is on with white light. But I cant select any programs to start the machine ( no white lights for all programs). What happen?
This hasn't happened to me. It should be covered by warranty so I would go back to supplier

Does this dishwasher have a fast mode wash 30min?

Hi Dennis thanks for your enquiry. You could use the eco cycle this goes for 100minutes and uses 11 litres of water. We use this cycle in the office dishwasher and everything comes out dry and clean. Thank you Smeg Australia
