myself. This is the second Smith and Nobel brand item I have and both are useless. I'm now going out to buy a REAL mixer.

Poorly designed, pretty useless – Can’t change the attachments with ease, every attachment seemed to come loose and fall into bowl! The only attachment to stay in place was the whisk but it doesn’t whisk properly,doesn’t lift high enough to get mixing bowl out without spilling contents. Not worth buying – I bought the stand mixer awhile ago can't say it is a great product doesn't really mix well as the mixing bowl is a bit deep for the beater to mix properly and got to scrap the sides think I will look for something better. Don't waste your money.  Show details

Very Disappointed – This mixer is terrible - the attachments do not reach the bottom or sides of the bowl. Hopeless to make a meringue as unbeaten egg white sits in the base of the bowl. Show details

It works great for the price – I’ve had this mixer 2 years and it may be loud and have minor issues but it has worked very well and was cheap. I have made pavlova, cakes, cheese cakes and pizza dough with it and it has always exceeded expectation. I paid $100, you can’t expect to get kitchenaid quality for $100. Show details

A stand mixer that does not mix – This mixer is not fit for purpose. The attachments do not reach the bottom or sides of the bowl. As a result it does not mix. I tried to make meringue. After a long time of beating I ended up with a very dense mixture, not fluffy at all. Next I tried to cream butter and sugar. The butter was just flung at the edges and the beater no longer touched it. Total failure. A responsible retailer would not sell such a product. Show details

Shocking – Purchased yesterday, used it for first time with dough hook, machine keep rattling at the hinge. Ingredients not mixed properly at the bottom, end up hand kneading. Wish I had read reviews before buying. If I bring it back to Harris Scarf for refund, would they do it if machine has been used? I need my money back!! Devastated!! Show details

do not buy – very poor machine. will not mix anything in the bowl as the attachments do not reach the bottom of the mixing bowl. the top mixing attachment will not even make a smoothie without jamming. the motor seems under powered and the whole machine feels cheap and nasty. Show details

This mixer should not be called that – Agree with all reviews. This mixer does not mix evenly, nor does it take up the bottom ingredients. It has zero power. Totally useless. Would love to use it but every time I try I get frustrated. Waste of money and should not be sold. Show details

mixer that doesnt mix the sides or bottom, I hoped it would at least work as well as the cheaper stand option I had $69 – First time using, mixing ingredients for 1 cake and I cant get the butter and flour to cream evenly. Useless doesn't mix sides or bottom at all – Hi All, I have a ' Smith + Nobel 1000w Planetary Stand Mixer (HSM37-RD) ' and it isnt that good, as in - it doesnt get items from the side of the bowl and probably has around 2cm around the entire edge of the bowl that remains untouched, the bottom of the bowl is about as useless also as it doesn't mix ingredients from the bottom section and its making using it just about impossible.
