Optimum Bon Appetit Pro Stand Mixer

I am very happy with my Bon Appetit Pro mixer. I have baked many cakes and it is very good at mixing dough. Only 1 issue and it is a very tiny issue. I wish the bowl had a handle which would make it easier to pour the cake batter into the cake pans. Other than that the mixer is very powerful and a real work horse. Show details ·  2

I used my Bon Appetit Mixer for the first time today after receiving it over 2 weeks ago. I'm loving it already, so much power and love the splash shield. I found it easy to use and love having the extra attachments. I have only used the standard attachment so far. I loved the features of this mixer when reading about it. I already had the large and small blenders from optimum so I knew this would be a good product. I had a Breville mixer (15 yr old) that had become noisy and needed replacing. in kitchen, powerful mixing, timer and touch control, easy to use, can attach the vegetable grating device (as well as other things which might be expanded on???) BAD POINTS: no handle on bowl, bowl too large for small amounts eg icing, does not mix everything in there (no scraper mixer paddle), no ability to hide cord away in base of mixer (like the Breville), no other colour options

Will there be a small bowl available?

love the fact that the connecting hook and whipping tools etc are completely metal and not plastic. It's metal and robust in all the right places and I can't wait to test and review the add on's like the veggie and meat grinder attachments. Absolutely fantastic!

Very happy – Our old mixer was starting to have issues with maintaining the speed so it was time for a replacement. purchase for me personally but I am so glad I chose this mixer. It is sturdy, made from quality material, isn’t too loud (although I haven’t tested too many other mixers to compare) and doesn’t take up too much bench space, in my opinion! The only thing that I wish it had that I have seen others mention is the bowl needs a handle but that is only me being picky!

The bowl is great, but it would be great if there was an option of purchasing a bowl with a handle to make it easier to pour the contents out of the bowl. I was considering trying bowls from other mixers, but was informed that this wouldn't work so have provided my feedback to the Froothie team for consideration. Overall i would highly recommend this stand mixer, the pricing point is very competitive. I haven't purchased the separate attachments but considering doing this so I can make things like pasta and mince dishes.

Love this mixer and the meat grinding attachment is a game changer – We needed a new mixer and I picked up the Optimum Bon Appetit online, mixer works great, come in handy for pavs and cakes we make. An amazing stand mixer! – What I love most about this mixer is the large but lightweight metal bowl, making it perfect for baking bigger batches yet also easy to handle and wash. A great home mixer – Very pretty and easy mixer to use. As a macaron baker, it’s important to me that I know the minimum number of egg whites it can whip. The answer is 3. Highly recommend this mixer to any regular home baker. Show reply

Smaller than I thought it would be – Dough hook is light and feels like it could snap. Don’t actually think it’s worth what I paid for it and that was at a discount. Would not recommend to purchase
