Snap Fitness Caulfieldsouth is the best!
Such a great vibe to the gym. The trainers are all very friendly & the gym is very clean & maintained to a high standard! The club manager is very approachable & runs a great ship. Highly recommended
I have got so many problems with the cancellation process and you cant cancel easily on the phone and you have to go there during manned hours.
They know it will take some planning to do with schedule as it may not be on top of everyone's to do things and it lingers on.
For my son it took a few weeks to go do it and you bleed money because you cant go there manned hours. With everything online these, you should not have do this..
And then if you dont want to pay for 2 weeks you were busy they send you collection letters
What a scam!
Discrimination & terrible cancellation problems
I signed up with my friend and we were promised that we would get a free PT session with a trainer as a sign up bonus. The trainer didn't even bother showing up and staff acted like they cared but after several weeks they ultimately did nothing.
I tried cancelling my gym membership. After several phone calls, escalation emails, I had to go to the gym during office hours to do so. This was when staff actually started to gave a damn and then promised to make things right. Avoid unless you like a second rate gym and dealing with nonsense.
SNAP Rockhampton: Best gym in Rocky hands down!
Very customer focussed. Cares about my goals and aspirations. Feel very welcomed in one of the friendliest and non judgemental environment. Brand new equipments with good balance between cardio, free weights, machines etc.
I have only been with snap fitness, for a short time
I have a cleft lip & my whole life, I have been discriminated against
I have now been discriminated by snap fitness Gosford
Firstly, [Name Removed], made absolute no attempt to value me & make me feel welcomed when I walked in. [Name Removed] would look at me, see my cleft lip. Would never ever talk to me
[Name Removed], would do the exact same. [Name Removed] also would not even talk to me, unless I pay for a PT session
A [Name Removed], claimed she cared about the issue & [Name Removed] did absolutely nothing about this. [Name Removed] has treated me horribly as well
Snap fitness lismore
I’ve been a member for 2 years and all of a sudden now for 3 times in a row I’ve been told they can’t withdraw the money out of my account and everytime I’ve gone in they said they’ve fixed the problem, I work full time so I have to leave work early to get there while it’s open so I am losing money and wasting my time
Best gym in caterbury
From the inital enquiry to membership best customer service by Jess . Shes is truly amazing and adorable. Best greeting at the door and smile at the front door. Its clean, with many equipment and best accomodating members .
This is pathetic
Snap fitness is a terrible gym, they not only don’t advertise the price of the access card which is $69, however you don’t find out until you’ve signed up. I signed up to the month the month plan under the assumption it was $29.90 per month. It turned out to be $29.90 per fortnight plus $1.15 transaction fees, yet they never specified that to start with, they price gouge you and you lose heaps of money because of it. Would 100% not recommend this terrible place, they are untrustworthy and on the down-low about the true cost of the gym.
Snap fitness Haberfield- unsafe & management could not care less when reported concerns
If you want to train at this club & you are female, be ready to feel unprotected, unsafe and extremely uncomfortable when males decide to exhibit creepy and inappropriate behaviour towards you. I proceeded to outline my concerns in person and then in writing to the club manager who swept this under the carpet and shifted blame. He did not offer support or concern regarding issues of intimidation bordering on harrassment. There were serious risks to safety during covid and the club manager could not care less. I have requested a resolution and a...condescending and dismissive "we appreciate your feedback" reply was given. No resolution was offered however, an attempt to solve the problem or offer support in the future where club manager takes action would be appreciated.
Love Snap Fitness!
Snap Fitness has everything you could ever need, clean facilities, a wide range of equipment, and allclubs that I have visited have a great community vibe andfeel. The various locations that I attend have access to various fitness classes which breaks up my workout routine nicely. Definitely what makes Snap place special is the people, all the staff greet me by name and are genuinely there to help me reach my health and fitness goals. I lost 10kg in 6 months and have never felt better!!
I'm disappointed to read that people on this thread arere...
I just had $7.70 taken out of mine too from fail pay Ezi? I am positive I do not have any DIrect debits set up for this amount. Checked on online ezi payments checker and says it came from SnapFitness. Trying to solve as I already paid my gym 4 days ago.

Cancellation policy is like a money pit
My partner and I cancelled out memberships on August 3rd as we were moving away due to money problem, and was informed the Sap final payments would be on the 17th and 31st.
We had to pay extra $12.18 on the 17th without ANY explanation. And we ended up paying in total of $154.78 since August 3rd to August 31st for the service we COULD not use. Also they were still charging money for the first few weeks of Covid lock down...
Stay Away from Snap fitness Dandenong
Staff member Shane is rude and unprofessional. ( please also look at the amount of complaints towards him on google reviews) Cancelled because of him. Show some respect. Waste of money. Stay away from this gym.
Pump up the fit balls in all gyms
None of the fit balls are pumped up, I am a paying member, I use them for injury’s and that was the same at two different snap gyms not exceptable lift your game for the use of everything in the gym for everyone
Don’t care about loyal customers
Being charged even after canceling my membership. Was told this is because I need to give 30 days notice. This would have been fine if I was actually able to use the Gym. How am I meant to use the gym in a pandemic. Snap fitness do not care about the health of customers and only care about money.
Snap Fitness is a money pit
I signed up to Snap Fitness Cronulla on the 31st January 2020 (under the age of 18 without parent permission) for the 1 dollar joining free deal, I recently contacted Snap Fitness to cancel my membership and was told that I had outstanding payments which shouldn’t have been the case because on signing up to the gym I signed a payment authorisation that granted them permission to start charging me. The new club manager explained that the contract which I signed on that day had “slipped through” their administration system, which explains why I h...ad outstanding payments. Snap Fitness Cronulla also had a full change of staff after gyms reopened so I wasn’t able to get any assistance with my situation. Despite all the trouble I had been put through, the manager demanded that I pay the outstanding fees even though I wasn’t able to access the gym due to the contract that they had misplaced AND demanded that I pay the full termination fee (a quarter of the remaining 12-month contract) even though the gyms were closed for three months during coronavirus. After various emails backwards and forwards, I was told to sign a new payment authorisation form, I refused to sign it due to the fact that I wasn’t able to attend the gym and I didn’t know what I was paying for and due to COVID-19 I had also been unemployed and was not in the position to be able to pay the fee. However, out of the blue I was charged $217 for my outstanding payments. I didn’t have any notice and wasn’t told the specific dates I was charged for despite asking several times. So I have no idea what I’ve actually paid for. Today, I received a call from the club manager of Snap Fitness Cronulla, regarding my payment issues. The lady on the phone was rude, blunt and kept interrupting me. She refused to listen to what I had to say and kept contradicting herself and the emails she sent me regarding the payments, as well as, the payment authorisation. She continued to refer back to the contract that I had signed on the 31st January 2020 underage without parent permission. In total, I have been forced to pay $315 to Snap Fitness Cronulla for absolutely nothing, I wasn’t able to access the gym before they closed on 14/3 and despite these unprecedented times Snap Fitness Cronulla has had no remorse and continued to charge me hundreds of dollars. Do not go to Snap Fitness it’s nothing but a money-grabbing business with very poor communication. If I could give them zero stars for everything, I would.
Absolutely Terrible Service & Deceitful Cancellation Policy
I am writing this for my younger Son. In December 2019 he went in to Snap Fitness Casula and said to the manager he wanted to cancel his membership. The manager said that's fine, my son asked how long did he have on his membership, the Manager said February 2020 its finished. So my son told him to cancel his membership at the end of February please don't continue it. The manger said he was the owner and should not be a problem. All the while money continued to come out of his account. February, my younger son lost his older brother, he was murd...ered down the street from where we live. This was so devastating for us and the whole family were in shock, not only dealing with the sudden death but dealing with the police and the media. Then the virus closed everything down. As money was not taken out of his account my younger son thought the membership was cancelled. Then the middle of June he started to get text messages from the manger about non payment, my son replied to him and also sent emails about him (my Son) coming in to see him in Dec 2019 and telling him to cancel etc the manager continued to talk about the payments being missed and threatened it will be going to a debt collector. July my mother passed away from cancer so another shock and grief my family has had to deal with. I have been reading all of these reviews here so I told my son to contact Head Office which he did with the email that is listed in the replies from everyone else that is having a problem with this company. That was 2 weeks ago no reply was been sent back to him. Today my son received a email from the debt collector for monies owed plus a fee. I will be also sending a complaint to the ombudsman and the Dept of Fair Trading. I know companies are hurting from this virus but how about the people out there that are also hurting due to other things that have happened in their life.
Like many other readers snap make it difficult to cancel membership. Payments seem to keep going. They say 1 month notice to cancel but are charging past agreed cancellation date. Thought illegal too charge for a service or product they won't be supplying. Also threats to get collectors to get payments if I don't . Disgusted by their behaviour . Will be doing my best to warn people about this gym and be aware of a contract that leaves costumers vulnerable.
Poor communication, untrustworthy
I signed up to Snap Fitness in January 2020. There was a one dollar joining fee at the time and I thought this would be a great opportunity to start going to the gym.
After a month of regularly using their gyms, my access card stopped working and I could no longer access the gym. I contacted the club manager at my local Snap Fitness gym (where I signed up), and asked if I could get my access card sorted and also if I could change the payment details I had associated with my contract since I was using bank account details which was more inconv...enient than credit card details. The club manager told me that she would update my details, and let me know when everything was sorted. She didn’t get back to me, and I still wasn’t able to access the gym. As soon as gyms reopened amidst the coronavirus pandemic, I decided to cancel my membership with Snap Fitness as I was frustrated with the poor communication and the fact I couldn’t access the gym! I called the new club manager and she said I had outstanding payments from February and March. During those months before the virus hit, I wasn’t informed that my account was being charged and I also wasn’t able to access the gym in the first place because the old club manager wasn’t able to sort that out for me. But apparently she was able to update my card details and charge me without letting me know. My girlfriend, who signed up with me on the same day in January for the same 1 dollar joining free deal, recently contacted Snap Fitness to cancel her membership and was told that she had outstanding payments as well as a termination fee. The new club manager explained that the contract which she signed on that day had “slipped through” their administration system, which would explain my predicament as well.
Questions & Answers
I am interested in Joining Snap Fitness in QLD however the best deal they are offering me is $14.95 for a 12 mth contract, They tell me they can waive the "Start Up Fee" of $149 but still want me to pay $69 for the Card Access. That is a total cost of $846.4 for a 12mth period.
