Snuggle Hunny

Pretty patterns but when you put it on wash, nahhh. Quality is diminished Same as cheaper brands. They are overpriced too with the same bonds quality. They are just very good with advertising on socials otherwise quality wise is down after you washed it. Not recommended
The growsuits and bodysuits I purchased are unsafe and unusable. MOST IMPORTANTLY, the small 2 button neck opening and no-give fabric of the bodysuit and growsuit made it impossible to dress my baby in. Baby was crying with distress when trying to pass over her head and get arms in, so I now have 6 unusable items. This was not a sizing issue, but… Read more
a very poor design issue. The zip romper of the same size has plenty of room and is a somewhat better design if you like the pretty prints, although the feel of the fabric is not nice, almost like lyrca. I received an email response from Snuggle Hunny suggesting that I onsell the items as the 60 day return period had lapsed. I would never even give them away following my experience! Absolute rubbish design in pretty patterns.
Lovely designs, but optical brighteners are a letdown While I have no complaints about the quality of the garments (and their customer service was also great), I was really disappointed to learn that Snuggle Hunny prints are produced using optical brighteners. When I received my order, I tested the fabric with a UV torch and the entire garment… Read more
lit up an intense blue glow - exactly the kind of response you see from fabrics treated with optical brighteners.
I reached out to Snuggle Hunny and they confirmed this: optical brighteners are added to achieve their bright white base for prints, and they’re comfortable with that choice since the chemicals are GOTS-approved.
Yes, optical brighteners are technically allowed under GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), but that doesn’t make them ideal for baby and children’s products. Personally, I don’t think they’re necessary. Other GOTS-certified brands (like Quincy Mae or Nature Baby) seem to simply accept a natural ivory base, which still allows for cute prints without resorting to this kind of chemical. On top of that, optical brighteners are not biodegradable: they hang around in wastewater and add to environmental pollution long after the clothes are made.
It baffles me that Snuggle Hunny insist on an unnaturally bright white base - even in darker prints like Sienna, where the inside fabric is stark white. I think many parents would happily accept a softer ivory look if it meant less chemical treatment and a kinder option for the environment.
For that reason, I can’t recommend them. I’m giving two stars because the return process was painless, but otherwise I found the brand disappointing - and if not for the easy return, it would have been one star.
Ordered a gorgeous baby set for my niece. Product came quickly and beautiful quality and such a sweet design. Even received some vouchers and bags of lollies. Will definitely order from them again and Yes it’s an Australian business
