Snugglers Small

They fill up so quick! – Doesn’t take long for them to fill and sag and get damp on the out side. I’m just using them until the pack runs out but only use them whilst at home because you have to change them so often. Wouldn’t recommend putting these in your nappy bag or before a long drive.
Ho hum – I really wanted to love these cause they are so cheap, however, they have not met my expectations. Interestingly, I opened my sample but didn't use it, as my daughter wasn't big enough for the small size yet so was able to compare it to the pack I had bought, they were totally different! The sample was lovely and padded whether as the ones I… Read more
bought were thin.
My daughter gets a rash from them that she doesn't get from huggies, if she has been wearing just snugglers and they have a funny smell as soon as they are wet.
Worst nappy I've come across with! – I don't normally write reviews but I feel the need to write this one out of frustration. I gave Snugglers a go because the style is similar to Huggies. However it's always such a mess everytime he poops, it leaks out from the sides and back. Can't count the many times I have changed the bed sheets and his clothes, especially frustrating during… Read more
winter as I have to strip him naked and clean nearly half of his body in the middle of the night when it's so cold. At first I thought it's just positional, but doesn't matter he's lying down, sitting up, or in a fowler position, the nappy can't hold poo. I still have a jumbo pack full of Snugglers but I will never use them again. Huggies is still the best in the market. You get what you pay for. I'd rather use Mamia or Babylove than Snugglers, plus it doesn't absorb wee well and just a few days of using it my bub had nappy rash :(
Positive reviews
Perfectly fine nappies at good price – I literally received every brand of nappy at my baby shower....and these are comparable to Huggies in how much soiling they hold and lack of leakage for my 10 week old. Other similarly priced cheap nappies ALL LEAKED urine up his back and tummy as they would gape as soon as he would move or do one wee. These are fine....not as soft as Huggies but he's not upset to wear them so I can only assume they are comfy too.
Great value! – My son has been wearing these for a couple of months and they're great! We've had a few leaks but frankly we had a few leaks in Huggies as well. He seems to fuss less when he wets a smuggler nappy than other brands, not sure if that's just my imagination though.
Love Snugglers – I have used a few different types of nappies and find Snugglers are just as absorbent as Huggies which is the top brand. I used to use Snugglers during the day and Huggies at night but switched over completely to snugglers after trialing them at night and no leaks! They are also so much cheaper than Huggies so that extra savings makes me even… Read more
happier. Would highly recommend these nappies. Absorbent, cute designs on the nappies (each box can be different designs) and price
Negative reviews
Great price ok value – I have bought these nappies on the price being $17 compared to the price of huggies nappies , the padding is thick compared to other cheap brands of nappies that i have tried. I have had only 1 leakage from my sons nappy great value on price and the design is cute
Different from sample – Tried the samples given by the company(abt 3 pieces) and think they are pretty good since my baby react to her new upsize diapers. Bought a box of it.. Horrible! The quality is totally different from the sample I have tried and baby react to it but not with the sample tried. Now I am stuck with a whole lot of them.
Rough, papery and not absorbent – After a friend's rave reviews last year and also trying a sample (direct from company or in baby bag can't remember) I bought a box of smalls for my 3 mth old son (6kg). Awful - thin, feels rough and like it would be uncomfortable to wear. Im sure the design changed from that sample I used! I thought it was like huggies without the wetness… Read more
indicator but so disappointed in what I just bought. Had a few leaks (although to be fair I've had that in huggies too) and when I've taken it off at change time I've notice the liquid hasn't absorbed but beaded and left my son's skin wet. Now I'm trying to use them up when I know my son won't be in it long (before bathtime) as I can't bear to throw anything away -but it's crossed my mind! Nothing Rough to the touch and non-absorbent

Terrible nappies! – Would never buy these again. The first one I put on my 8 week old son leaked through his pants and through my clothes within 2 minutes of me getting him dressed. Thought I'd try them out given how much cheaper they are than huggies, but will definitely go back to huggies as these are terrible and I think you would use 3 times as many snugglers to huggies given the leakage. Nothing Leakage
good alternative to huggies – We recently bought a pack of these and are quite happy with it a it fits or son well and so far we've had no leaks. The size is the same as the huggies infant and are very easy to put on and adjust the tabs (had issues with Aldi's brand which I found quite annoying to put on) same size as huggies infant, good price, less bulky than huggies
Excellent – kept hearing that Snugglers nappies have gone downhill in quality during the last several years, it was a surpirse to find out that the new and current Snugglers nappies have improved greatly compared to ones sold in big supermarkets back in 2002. Practically, the ones I tried, almost good like Huggies (except for the triple leg guards as in… Read more
Huggies ones). The absorbancy was good, inner lining was pretty dry after 6hrs usage on a baby who pees lots. Look good, feel good (before and after being used), pleasant design, high absorbancy, good gribbing tab, good leg guards, etc. Will be too big for newborn less than 5kg or so.
get what you pay for – I bought a pack of these from big w as they were the cheapest nappies I've seen at $24 for 108 I think it was. So as far as price goes they were great. However, they are not soft at all , and my daughter got a rash when she has never had one with any other nappy. They don't fit well, as the waistband is too small, and once you've used the tabs,… Read more
its hard to adjust as they don't stick well a 2nd time. Will not be using these again. cheap, cute designs tertible fit, feels scratchy

Not a problem – I have recently switched from Huggies to Snugglers and I must say that I haven't had any issues with them. No leaks, no rashes and good fit. I actually prefer the Snugglers as they are a little thinner than the Huggies and my daughter seems more comfortable in these in hot weather. Price is good also! No leaks, light, no skin issues, price
Good price when on special. Cute designs – I'm really happy with these nappies. They're bound to be a good product coming from the same company as Huggies. Nice designs, but it's a shame the designs aren't mixed in the boxes/bags as you only seem to get 1 design per box/bag. Nice fit and I've not had any leakages. Last all night and most of the morning (mostly because the little one isn't… Read more
a big night wetter)
I'll only buy them when they're on special as I've only seen the boxes available at Big W and it's only $3 more at normal prices than Huggies are. Good price when on special. Cute designs. Only 1 design per box/bag.
These are the best nappies after Huggies – Snugglers small size are made for up to 8kg babies. My son is 6kg and they fit him great and haven't leaked. Snugglers are the economy brand made by KimberleyClark who also manufacture Huggies. When comparing a Huggies Infant size nappy to a Snugglers small size nappy the only difference i can find is that the padding on the Snugglers is… Read more
slightly thinner. Snugglers have the same stretchy waistband & tabs, two side leakage barriers, triple core absorbency and cute designs.
There is a Choice website link which states that snugglers nappies were ranked number 2 out of a study. Inexpensive comes in box of 108 at Big W (about 22c each), great colours, my son seems very comfortable in them. I only started using these nappies when my son was 5.9kg however i probably wouldn't use them on a newborn child who is less than 4kg as the nappy appears be way too big for a baby less than 4kg and may result in leaks.
Terrible-they leak – Bought a box on special at big w and 5 out of the first 8 leaked. Called the company (who also make huggies) and they said snugglers are their economy version of huggies with less absorbency. They suggested changing them more often. As I had been changing them every feed (3-4hourly) I was not happy to wake baby just for a nappy change. They are… Read more
replacing the box with huggies. Cheap but not worth it- you get what you pay for. The company were very helpful in replacing the nappies with their other brand huggies and will continue to buy huggies Leaked
Very third class nappies...wont reccommend anyone to buy these – I bought a big 138 small nappies box of snugglar for my 4 months old dd. but in first couple of days these gave me proof of third class. they are leaky. very irritable to baby skin. 3 out of 5 nappies were leaked. so after 2 day i stopped to use them. Expensive, leaky, gives bad rash
Good nappy, great price! – I've been using the Snugglers Small nappies for a few weeks now and despite a few small leakages (with explosive Number 3's in an already wet nappy!), they are a good, reliable nappy. Fits well around my baby's waist and legs, and I've had no problems with the grip tags ripping off. Super cheap if you wait until the big boxes are on sale at Big W. Cheap, reliable nappy Few small leakages
Pretty good nappies – I bought a few boxes of these and also some Babyloves and preferred the Babyloves. These worked out a little cheaper but they aren't as soft and I didn't find the fit to be that great for my baby. They are a good alternative to Huggies though and are made by the same company for a better price. Well priced especially when on sale at Big W which… Read more
happens quite often; cute designs and NOT Winnie the Pooh!; hold a lot of wee and easy to tell by feel when they are wet I found that these left red marks on my baby's legs and she's not particularly chunky - probably helps with leakage but I didn't like it.
Terrible – Cheap but nasty. There are better cheaper brands out there but these are definently not worth it. I thought the first time was a bad batch and thought I'd give it another go and sadly regretted it. What a waste of money. Cheap They gave both my daughters nappy rash. Be careful if your baby has sensitive skin.
Bad – These are good cheap nappies but you have to watch for leakage. I found them good as an in between size. They seem to be in between Huggies Newborn and Infant sizes. They are very cheap and can be bought in bulk. They are readily available. They leak quite often and don't hold as much liquid.

Good – I would recommend this nappy to use, but just watch for leakage! I will continue to use as I think the next best nappy is Huggies and they are over priced. Price (great discounts when on sale in Big W), brand name, softness, designs Leak - my son has leaked through up his side and back so many times, really disappointing that Snugglers nappies are… Read more
like this. Nappy is on the right place, tightly but often has leakage - even when nappy itself isn't very wet.
Excellent – I was hesitant in trying this brand, but was having great troubles with another brand leaking. They are very absorbent, my daughter has not have any leaks/pooplosions; even though she is a heavy wetter, and a shocker pooer. She sleeps from 7pm to 4:30am and the nappy is still fine, once she gets up at 8am she gets changed. Very soft on the inside,… Read more
leg guards are really good and soft. No red marks are left on legs. Very cheap if you buy them in bulk. Designs are unisex and all over the nappy. Very soft. Doesn't smell. No leaks over night with heavy wetter 5mth old. Lovely design, very good grip tabs. Nice rise to the nappy. Trim through the crotch. Way to big for a newborn, I would definitely go a size smaller.
OK – They are a pretty good alternative for a daytime nappy not as absorbent as Huggies. Will stick with Huggies for night time though. They are a great size when your baby is too big for Huggies Newborns but the crawlers are a bit big. They need to be changed regularly since they are not as absorbent as Huggies so they could cause nappy rash. Nice… Read more
size for between a Huggie Newborn and their Crawler. They are soft and comfortable. Strong grip tabs. Nice patterns and colours. Fairly good absorbency as daytime nappy. Too big for Newborn. Not as absorbent as Huggies. Lots of leakage when used voer night and may have caused nappy rash.
Good – I was pleasently surprised at the quality of the new improved snuggler, and would be happy to use these as a daytime nappy alternative to huggies, but I think it would be a little exy to use as a generic to Huggies unless you can get them on sale. The new type are surprisingly soft, and quite comfortable for the baby. I would even go so far as to… Read more
say that they're probably softer than huggies. They're thinner than Huggies, so I wouldn't feel really safe using them for nights. The pattern colours are a bit towards the pink, a bit too girly for boys if it shows through their bodysuit or pants. A bit exy to use as a generic alternative to Huggies.
Good – are ok as in affordable and absorbancy of wee, but not my prefered brand for use with newborn due to the fit not being snug and neat leading to additional washing of clothing affordable and cute patterns, easy to apply grip tabs. absorbancy is ok for wees they are too large for newborns, ride high on the bellys and dont enable a snug fit leading to leakage from legs when nappy super messy
Good – very good, similar to huggies but cost less, no leaks, can be used safely, very happy with product, highle recommend to try it before buying other brands very good nappies, cost effective,as good as huggies, come in a nice red box,no smell, recommend it
Good – I always purchase Snugglers as they are really affordable and provide everything I need in a nappy that is the correct size for a newborn and fits them for the first couple of months. They have never leaked for me even when they are full, and they are lighter and alot less bulky than other nappies. I will continue to reccomend these nappies for… Read more
anyone wanting an affordable newborn nappy. These nappies are cheap and economical. They are a nice design and the tabs stick well. They are a really good fit for newborn babies. I dont have any cons with these nappies.
Terrible – everything, they dont do the job they are ment to i will never buy them again. they are not worth they buy at all. They give no support they are thin and leak, every time every nappy. they are not good quality. He wakes up threw the night soaked from the nappy.I dont think the sizes are right also. the first time i used them i thought the nappy was a fault but it is every nappy i have used so far.
Bad – Its a good nappy if you dont have much money and use it only during the day. i wouldnt recommend to use it at night because it doesnt hold much wee. It can be a pain at night because baby stays wet, and causes nappy rash, unless you wake baby every hour to change nappy. cheap and good to use during the day baby wets through nappy if worn through… Read more
the night, doesnt hold as much liquid as other brands. Cheap to buy but you go through many through the day that can end up costing you more. Has a funny smell when wet. sizing isnt correst. Would only fir a baby 5kgs tops.
Good – I've only used the Snugglers small for the past 2.5 weeks, when my baby started leaking through his Huggies, so we moved him up a size (beyond the NB 5kg weight). So far, I've found the Snugglers easy to use and reliable- no leaks, no nappy rashes, and the re-adjustable grip tabs work fine. However, I have always changed a nappy within 10 minutes… Read more
of a poo, so I don't know if it would leak if left longer. And I only use the Snugglers during the day. Overall, good quality for a very good price. Price, and not bulky. That is _seems_ thinner and I can see the colour of the poo through the sides, although I haven't experienced any leakages yet.
Good – I like these nappies but the leaking through the night was a bit off putting. I like the bigger nappy so poo didn;t go up the back like Huggies do Good price for quantity. Bigger nappy so not so often poo explosions. Bit stiff and leak for over night use
Bad – I would only use these if huggies were out of stock. I have tried them a few times and have not been happy. They leaked 9/10 and felt stiff. I found that the grip tabs would often rip off too. Price Leakage- VERY OFTEN! They feel quite stiff and rough compared to Huggies
Excellent – A great nappy for a really great price. If you get it on special, it is about half price of other quality nappies. I tried huggies and found that this was a better nappy because it doesn't leave any lindt. My daughter slept 14 hours a night with no nappychange and the nappy didn't leak. Relly gentle for the skin and haven't had any nappy rash (… Read more
save you the cream as well!). Very good fit. Great price on a quality nappy. The fit is good and it is quick and easy to change even on a moving baby. It does not leave any lindt on the babies skin, and it doesn't leak either. the only dislike is that the biggest boxes are not available in the supermarket.
