believe I was misled and unfortunately lost my deposit.

I strongly advise others to stay away from this company. I will be filing a formal complaint with consumer protection authorities and exploring legal options.

Please be cautious and do thorough research before making any payments.

Over 6 months has passed since I began the process of installation of a solar system and battery for my house. pretty much right away and said you’ll be there in 30 some minutes. I said I thought you’re supposed to call an hour ahead. He said he could wait for an hour if you like. Mind you, I’ve been waiting all day. The guy bring a few things. I knew everything was not there. There were no solar panels. The guy said they were coming tomorrow. The installers came and they seem to be nice people. The solar panels never showed. They said the delivery guy should’ve sent him the day before. I told them, he said it would come tomorrow. They’re blaming the god that delivered and said he had a mix up. We don’t care about mix ups but I have to do another day with installation. I want to do it on a Friday, but I was busy on Friday. And they said they can do it on Tuesday. I informed him I do have a doctor’s appointment on that day. Mind you, I still cannot get a hold of [Name Removed]. Leave message after message and no [Name Removed]. I guess he’s done with me because he made his sale. Now I’m sitting here with brackets on my roof. Hoping that they will show up next week. Not sure if they’re showing up on delivery on Tuesday or Monday. Nobody told me. Most likely is a good idea to stay away from these people.

then, they have done nothing but delay and frustrate me with endless excuses. "We can’t see the loan approval," "It’s been transferred to the installation team," and other nonsense excuses have been their responses for weeks. Despite providing over 50 photos and 2 video files on three different occasions to help with the process, they have stalled and failed to deliver.

Fast forward to 20th January 2025—after over 14 days of silence—they had the audacity to demand an additional $700 for a scissor lift, claiming it’s essential for the installation. This is after they’ve had every opportunity to assess the site properly.

Here’s the kicker: They’re now refusing to install the system entirely! They claim they can’t do the job, despite all the evidence and preparation provided. When I asked for a refund of my deposit, they told me they can’t issue one because it’s been more than 2 months since payment—an absolutely ridiculous and unethical policy.

I even recorded their phone conversations to document the lies they’ve been telling me, yet they continue to avoid responsibility.

This company is a complete scam. They take your money, string you along with excuses, and then refuse to either deliver the service or issue a refund. It’s outrageous that companies like this are allowed to operate.

I’m filing a formal complaint with consumer protection authorities and will pursue this matter to ensure they are held accountable for their actions.

If you value your hard-earned money, do NOT buy anything from this company. Warn your friends, family, and anyone in your network to avoid them as well.

Let’s make it clear that this type of behavior won’t fly in Australia.

No Support after installation at all – Although the sales and quotes process was impressively streamlined, the support I have received after installation has been quite disappointing. To provide some context, I had a solar system installed on December 17th 2024 However, it has been several weeks, and the system is still not functioning. Additionally, I have not been provided with any timeline for when this issue will be resolved.

Efficient, patient and knowledgeable – Tbh, I intended on getting 3 quotes for my solar panels but after engaging with Tahlia Mayes I looked no further. She is a next level professional with a passion for her product. Courteous, well informed, patient and super swift in getting the process rolling. After speaking with colleagues who have also had panels installed with other companies, my price point was excellent. Give that lady a bonus!!

No support provided – The sales and quoting process was streamlined, although it was strange to be contacted by a new person at every touch point. Also note for others that an independent inspector will have to sign off on the works afterwards and this could be within 2 weeks ( we waited for 8 business days)

Now customer service is where it is really lacking. A tale as old as time, when they try to sell to you, or when you’re in the process of signing up, the communication is constant and great and you feel taken care of. However when something goes wrong and you need assistance, you’re asked to provide information via email (even if you called in) - there’s no response from them and you’ll have to wait some more until someone else can assist which more or less defeats the purpose of support.

Had we had a better experience, we would’ve recommended them to everyone because their offerings provide the best value seemingly. But I guess where you save money, you lose in after sales support.

Overall could not recommend solar emporium in the event you get a faulty unit somewhere and have to wait on top of waiting for installation and validation.

Still waiting for installation – After ten weeks of approval we are still waiting for installation of solar panels. We ring solar emporium every week but get the same answer, (we will see what we can do) Thinking of going to a reliable company that will complete our job.

Bad Experience – They make promises to give you a perfect job but ended up in bad results. The layout was different from the google map photos and the connection was done to power half of the house only due to their inaccurate information about how many phases my switch board has.
