Got colour line down left side Only 4 days old
Any device I use streaming 4K or HDR (ex. my cable providers decoder which streams in 4K or 4K Apple TV or Netflix) I lose the rich vibrant live colors/look on the screen, the screen looks like there is a mist over it, black color for an example tend to be kinda grayish, the whole screen looks very dim. If I use my cable providers old decoder which does not stream in 4K or use the old Apple TV that also does not stream in 4K I get the rich vibrant live colors back on the screen. Also, I have notice in the specifications for this TV Picture Mode does not refer to HDR as a Picture Mode Option, could this be the problem.
Only HDMI sockets 2 & 3 are for UHD/HDR content. They are not ON by default and need to be switched ON via the settings. This may be your issue.
Just wanted to know the steps on how to record channels using thumb drive or hard drive. Never had any success is there any suggestions. Also when using Netflix, the Anroid does not auto update. Some times can not get Netflx Have to continually turn tv off and unplug for a few minutes.

hi i update my tv with last ver ( 65x8500c ) i miss 3d in tv..please help me i want old firmware for back 3d my tv? thanks
tv wont turn on, it gives 6 consecutive flashes when i turned on and still won't turn on
what does it mean when tv gives 6 consecutive flashes and still won't turn on
my sony bravia has gone from functional and fine to no picture no sound. the red light flashes six times. thats all I get from it Was advised by sony to try the reset and did this with no effect. Have now been basically told I need to pay someone approved by sony to fix it at my expense. While I'm waiting for someone to fix it, We're watching our 12 year old 42 inch LG. Works well and purchase price was probably a little more than the 65 inch sony. It goes without a problem. I waited longer to purchase the sony than it's lasted.... I thought Sony was the brand. Its totally unacceptable that any appliance with a purchase price of around 2k, should need to be repaired or maybe replaced after three years. Why cant sony tell me whats wrong with my purchase?? I'm sure they have a database of common faults on a timeline somewhere Has anyone experienced similar issue with there TV? Doesn't feel right that I have to ask the community for answers when the manufacturer has them . But anyone know whats the go thanks in advance
This TV has just started turning itself off. Random. It is probably 3 years old.... pretty frustrating though. Suggestions?
Not a lot you can do I've found. All I did was wait it out. Mine's almost stopped doing it now after 4 years of crapping itself. Maybe it's all grown up now in tv years.
Where is the on/off button on the actual television.
Is my Sony KD-55X8500C compatible with Foxtel IQ4 4K?
What glasses should I use for 3d?
Does this model KD55X8500C has 3D option in the monitor?
Nope sorry
For those who are having trouble with Wifi,. you cant compare wifi to everything else.
If anyone else needs help with wifi, read a little bit on "5ghz wifi' or get a router that has 5ghz so you are not on the same signal that microwaves and bluetooth and all your neighbours appliances are on , making that frequency busy.
Otherwise buy "ethernet power plug adapters" and plug one in to the mdoem and a power socket and one into a power socket and your tv so you have Ethernet connection through the walls without having to run cables as it goes on the pwoer signals. That will solve everything.
Does anyone know what they are called? (just so i can give this advice a sa question
Ethernet will always be superior to WIFI you speak of Ethernet power line adapters made by many makers such as d-link and TP-link. Doing this also has other advantages it frees up the TV's WiFi direct mode for connecting a laptop or smartphone wirelessly. The other factor along usage of the 5ghz band on your WIFI is it can move considerably more data. Especially important when it comes to 1080p and the latest 2160p (4K UHD) video!
Is my tv model Bravia 4K 2015 an android 5 or greater? I have downloaded an app which requires 5 or greater to work.
If it's the c model it would have been shipped with android 5 pre-installed.
