Southern Tablelands Conveyancing

Avoid! Rude receptionist. Unprofessional staff attitude! – I had a terrible experience with this conveyancing firm. From a rude receptionist to a complete lack of professionalism from staff; this firm ticks all the wrong boxes. First they sent an incomplete contract to the bank. Then they forgot to submit the paperwork for the new home grant. Their incompetence did not end there: they did not let me know when the settlement failed to happen because of a missing document. I had to call them up for an update for each step of the process. Never once did my solicitor bother to return my calls. I left messages but no one ever bothered to call back. I had to actually visit their office several times to get things done. My solicitor disappeared after the initial meeting and I had to deal with a different person each time. Two staff members were helpful but there was an obvious communication gap. Save yourself from a headache and use a different firm.
Conveyancing Nightmare – My son who has a mild intellectual disability purchased his first home in 2010. He engaged the services of Southern Tablelands Conveyancing. The Licensed conveyancer acted in defiance of her regulatory bodies- Aust Int of Conveyancers & The conveyancers Licensing Act & continued to act with 2 conflicts of interest between herself, vendor & building inspector Brad Writer Contructions. This caused a great financial loss because she did not carry her duties out with due care & skill . My son has been placed in a very vulnerable position due to her careless & neglectful attitude.
Conflict of interest, Did not follow clients instructions & did not explain conveyancing process to client in detail
