Inept and Incompetent - AVOID at all costs – My Samsung monitor was sent here as a warranty repair from JBHifi with a HDMI Port fault. One of the 2 HDMI ports would default to 1080p despite the monitor resolution 3840 x 2160. 4 days later, I received an SMS from JBHiFi that the monitor is ready to collect in-store, to my disappointment, it was labelled "No Fault Found". resources didn't even bother to compare the resolution output between the 2 ports! They basically left it on (soak test) for 4 days and deemed it good to go! I called JBHiFi and they advised me to ring Southside Inept Electronics. I did so, and the helpdesk agent advised everyone is "busy", I explained the situation and pleaded for him to escalate the issue and have someone call me back to no avail. It's been a week since my call and I haven't received the call back, I fixed the problem myself in the end.

Unprofessional and ignorant – Was directed by Samsung who declined to repair under warranty. Charged over $700 to repair TV. Repair man implied we'd moved or dropped it - which is absolutely not true or poured water on it. It's been in the same place for 4 1/2 years. I was absolutely insulted. Aggressive and ignorant and as I'm not a liar, they must be!

Avoid at all costs – Was sent here by Sharp for a warranty repair on a microwave. They don't answer their phones and when it was answered it was offshore so I couldn't get a direct answer. Emails weren't replied to either, I had to physically go in there just to get the process started. Took the microwave in there early March 2023, after multiple calls finally got it back at the end of June.

Rubbish company – Television still broken. They say there here to help you and repair your television but after six visits, it's still broken but the best thing is they lie to the consumer and play tricks with the extended warranty. Provide you with one written report, stating that your Samsung television has issues but send a different report the extended warranty.

an acknowledgement of receipt. In the end I picked up my amp and brought it back. They did however return the inspection fee. Never again will I use this unprofessional outfit.

AVOID AT ALL COST – They claimed they were able to service a Stirling dryer. I paid $130 for one of their techs to come and have a look. He didn't know how to fix the dryer but told me that they would check with the manufacturer and come back to me. months later, I contacted them again asking for a full refund to which they agreed and told me that someone from the accounts department was going to call me to arrange the refund. Needless to say, that call never came. I called several times after that and I was promised a call back from the manager several times. That never happened either. And now, they are saying that they don't see why they should issue a refund because the manufacturer never got back to them. So Southside Electronics are not a legitimate business, even the manufacturers ignore them. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere for your white goods maintenance needs.

Worst experience! – Used them as they are an authorised ssmsung repair centre for my fsther in kaws mucrowave. The whole process with Southside has been shocking, right from the moment of dealing with an unheloful & extremely rude customer service lady that took my call each time, horribke! Will be writing again to Ssmsung to exoress my disatissfaction with Southside abd they should remove this company from authorised repair centr if they dont wsnt customers to avoid Samsung branded appliiances

He was punctual, polite and fixed the problem so that met all of my expectations (and exceeded those for some other companies).

Based on this experience, I would use Southside Electronics in future.

Never again – I told him what was wrong and he said that can’t happen so I got my wife on the phone and she said the same so he filled it up with water and said see so he’s calling me a lier

Unprofessional – Extremely opportunists and money oriented, would not even quote on the repairs even though its a renown Samsung warranty/fault, nor allow discussion with technician for estimation on overall costs. Receptionists quite rude and abrupt. Samsung should not have such unprofessional service providers representing their products and company.

The worst customer service ever, I won’t recommend – Very dogie, paid $430 for the repair of my fridge they said they put new parts with 3 months warranty 4 months later the fridge is gone again. And very aggressive manager.

Ritchie the technician went above & beyond. Would definitely recommend Southside Electronics – Great Service and technician really knew his stuff and after repairing our fridge also did a thorough check to make sure no further problems. Rude - does not even begin to describe this – Rude - does not even begin to describe this.. Awful customer service. Very rude and unprofessional receptionist, unwilling to help Refused to connect to technician to discuss the issue. Please consider replacing this person with more people oriented staff member. She does not allow for potential customer to obtain advise from your technicians.

Fast, efficient response, friendly staff – After mighty struggle with Samsung Call Centre over 4 weeks we were finally put in touch with Southside Electronics to repair our 13 mth old Qled Tv.Really prompt service and everyone from office staff to co ordinator to our repair expert Richard exceeded our expectations.Really recommend them.
