very dangerous – We bought a spa from SPA RITE BAYSWATER. Upgraded from our 2 person spa we had for many years which was a beauty and just had its day, therefore we upgraded. Big massive regrets! We bought the 4 person spa where 2 people can lay down in it. What a waste of time. Unless you are over 6’2” you cannot lay down and reach the other end, therefore you have no grip with your feet and legs, You get thrown around too much even on the lowest spa settings. Far from relaxing. It’s a chore trying to hang on somewhere and there is no hang on area!

AND the inside surface is so slippery it’s very very dangerous. We have both had serious falls in and trying to get out of the damn thing. Impossible to get out as your hands slip on the surface and your feet slip badly too.

Our old spa had a roughed up surface and you had no slip problems. WS easy to get in and out of and also easy to lay down in without being thrown about. We are not short people and not skinny, so staying laying down should be easy. But it’s not.

What a waste of money, as we emptied it after 3 months and never have used it again.

As for the recommendation from the owner John, of a so called “good concreter” to pour a slab for the spa to sit on....... well..... Good Grief! A 4 yr old could have made a slab better than this mob.

The idiot concreters made a smooth surface for a wet area. They may as well have polished the concrete coz that’s how slippery it is. Dangerous as much as the Spa! What idiots!

Plus paid for coloured concrete that they had two goes at doing and failed miserably at both. The slab looks like a piece of rubbish! Visitors were shocked to see how bad this concreting job was. Even has holes in it.

Spa-Rite, you’ve let us down miserably. A waste of thousands of dollars. Once you buy, the owner stops being the nice person he was at the original sale.

Beware and watch out for the slipperiness of the surface you choose, because the owner wont tell you. Once you’ve bought it, that’s it! He doesn’t care one damn bit!

$7000 spa cost

$1200 concrete slab cost

$1200 electrical costs

All for an empty spa that sits in the yard with a lid that gathers so much filth on it no matter how often you rub protectant into it.

Our othe spa lid stayed reasonably clean and protectant always repelled dust and dirt.

This new SpaRite cover is a piece of rubbish that allows far too much condensation in. Our old one stayed dry inside when we winterised it. This one doesn’t!

Rubbish!

No customer Service!! – Purchased a spa from here and was promised delivery to our door for free, when the truck turned up he would not deliver it down our driveway as he would have scratched his new truck, so took it back to the warehouse. We then had to pay an independent delivery guy to deliver it the following day! Have had no follow up service from this company as customer service does not seem to be a priority for this company. Did not even receive a handover booklet for our spa, had to ring a request one! Would not recommend them if you wanted to buy a spa.
