Will never recommend these people to supply an outdoor again. Priced at $2200 and door cost $399. Shop around – Too expensive. Supply and fit $2200 Doors cost $399. Shop around. Asked to break price down but said they don’t. !!! No would not recommend.

Refused service, no rational explanation after arranging to do work – I had a person come some time ago to look at the work, prepare a quote and give advice- all good. traditional cedar french doors and windows in need of repair and improved weather sealing, also discussed that it might be best to replace at least one of these french door sets as repair would be difficult. We also discussed replacing front door with custom design to match the house style (early 1900s french doors). I also asked for advice. The person said they couldn't start until April. I said ok. Was contacted beginning of April by this second person asking if I wanted to go ahead. Yes please, I said. Then I was abruptly told in an email the next day from another person that they " cannot possibly assist you".."we recommend Doors Plus..". Then in reply to my surprised email asking whether I had offended them or what part of the job was an issue, she responded "..we weren't the right company for you. We are installers not the manufacturer..you are going to be better off going to the supplier direct.." . I remain mystified in light of the content on their website and facebook page which shows all the work that I had asked of them. I have traditional doors and windows and needed a specialist who works with these. This crowd basically have told me I have to replace all mine with new ones as they refuse to repair any, saying it is not in their capacity to do so. I can see my ideal front doors on their website- a custom pair made for someone else. I can see other people's French Doors repaired on the website, and windows repaired, and new ones installed to match the house style. So yes, inexplicable, mystifying. They wasted my time and caused considerable distress and have ignored my further request for explanation. I hope a can find another business with more decency and integrity doing the same kind of work.

Disappointed end result Ordinary response to complaint – Got a screen, on a door, replaced. Over all it was ok, was really disappointed we were not told we could choose the frame colour. As a result we ended up with a white on a cream, and it looks ordinary. When asked we were told to get it painted, even when asked for a quote to replace frame. location allows for fingers to be crushed (my 7 year old found this out the hard way) on one side and 'bashed' on the other (so i have to fix it). The timer to fill a gap to support the frame was not even and requires sanding/planing. Some of the smaller things i would let go, but the response to the complaint and the sales person not pointing us in the correct direction gives a 2*. I gave an extra star for the additional work of installing some handles on other doors and a very good price.

Top quality service – Highly professional staff. Contact is responded to promptly and they arrive when they say they will. I was given a very reasonable written quote for my job and one week later all done to a high standard. Very impressed and will use again.
