Spot On Panels Deer Park… Nice place but not quality work!!! – Spot On Panels Deer Park… Nice place but not quality work!!! . l took my car to Spot on Panels Deer Park to get some deep scratches fixed on the front bumper of my car on the 29th Jan 2024 and was greeted by a very helpful receptionist whom l could not fault. My car is nearly 2 years old. After picking up the car l noticed that the colour was noticibly darker compared to the rest of the car. l took it back , spoke to [Name Removed] who told me he was the manager in charge and said that it looked ok to him, and it was the best that they could do as the issue was that the clear coat they put on had changed the colour slightly. He told me that they repaired the scratches but instead of repainting the whole bumper they only painted the area affected and then put a clearcoat straight over the top of the original paintwork and that by putting the clearcoat straight over the original paintwork caused the colour to darken. He said even if he put on another clearcoat the issue would be the same. He has now organised for their paint representative to see me to confirm what “he” was saying is true. The Paint rep has agreed with him which l knew would happen. l should have listened to others who posted bad reviews about this company but l thought being such a large company this surely could not be true…l was wrong. I was also told that if l paid cash then it would be cheaper which l did, but l wasn’t given an official invoice only a receipt for my payment. l have spoken 3 other panel beaters who have said that Spot on Panels should fix the issue which l can’t see happening so l am now organising to get the colour match done elsewhere. So, if you want a job done that up to THEIR STANDARDS go to Spot On Panels Deer Park however if you want to get a job done that you will happy about go elsewhere!!!!!!
