St John First Aid - would rather take your money then help an individual save lives – I enrolled in a local first air course as I wanted to be across general first aid and CPR as I have 2 young kids and elderly parents. Then Covid hit and I asked to reschedule. They granted me a credit. Over the phone they did not mention and on email it did not say this is only valid for 3 Months. As you know Covid went on and off with lockdown for a year at least. So 10months later I asked to rebook my course and they told me they could not as the credit had expired I would have to pay in full again. Is this a charity? Is this for the people? Is this thinking about one’s safety over money? I think not. I explained that with Covid and my parents and children I could not attend earlier. I also mentioned that the reason I booked this is my sons friends from Kindy (6yrs old) passed away from an asthma attack. My daughter also fell and hurt head so badly it was open and required stitches and since both of these tragic events I really want to do this training and help who I can and be in a more prepared if an accident or tragedy such as these were to happen. No sympathy received no care factor. I am Astounded that an organisation such as this would treat someone this way. All for the money as always. Very disappointed and disgusted.it’s a shame this incident has now clouded my view of what I thought was an amazing organisation previously.
