Staminade Endurance Powder

Highly recommend it over any other sports drink in Australia! – I only just started taking Staminade a few months ago. I am not an athlete but I find it really hydrating after my morning run.

OK, I admit, I've been relying on Staminade and other "sports drinks' to rehydrate during my working day for 5 years now and prior to that, when I was playing sport..

I buy the powder and mix my own drink as buying ready to drink is way too expensive for me!

I drink it every work day in summer (1 - 1.5 litres and about 2 - 3 litres of water), making sure it's going to last the whole day.

On days where I forget to take it with me I feel the difference and I need to buy ready made. So, no doubt from me that it helps me get through my day.

When I last saw my dentist he commented that my teeth had not fared very well since my previous visit and he was at a loss as to why. It was then that I mentioned my "sports drink" intake.

His response was "..no, no, you must not drink that stuff..it will harm your teeth.."

That made me think.

I tried another rehydration product but that was way too expensive so I continued with the Staminade and the likes.

Staminade also "contains magnesium * " supposedly to aid with cramping / recovery from cramps but in my experience I have still suffered from cramps (severe) and I never found myself thinking.."..geez, I'm glad I had my Staminade today.." !

Staminade works but I'm giving it a 2 because of its carbohydrate/sugar/kJ content.

Per 250ml serve:

kJ 265 (63.3365 Cal)

Carbohydrate 15g

Sodium 95mg

Will I buy again.....no.

Excellent – Overall great for hydrating after exercise and the jar is easy to store and has several serves. Easily located in the local supermarket. I couldnt find it and I asked the store manager. Highly recommended. They now make this product in a 585gm jar. Its is now far easier to dissolve in water, it no longer has sweetners. It also contains Magnesium. There is also a scoop for measuring the stamiande powder. Sometimes the lid is difficult to take off.
