I have owned and bred dogs for over 30 years now and have used many different brands of kibble to feed them. Without doubt Stay Loyal is by far the best product I have used, my dogs are by far the healthiest in coat and weight than ever since using this kibble. the Stay Loyal founders, Robert and David, we put her on it. She was only a pup when taking up the diet and hasn't missed a beat, after having a few gut and coat reactions to some popular brand-name food when we first got her. We have been following the recommended diet, which strangely reduces the amount of Stay Loyal you use, and includes supplementing eggs, sardines and raw meat on the bone and fasting with the Stay Loyal food. The outcome is that she is well fed and her overall health is excellent. Every time we go to the vet, which is only annually for her needles, he comments on how well she is, her coat and especially her teeth. I have no idea if it is solely because of this or she's just a good breed, but she is fit, well and healthy. She has never had a coat issue which we know a lot of dogs suffer from. I think it is the Stay Loyal food and diet and we are so glad we found this product. We appreciate the newsletters and the tips on dog health and well-bing and also the personal replies to any questions. I believe our dog will live a very healthy, happy life (apart from the fasting day). It's not cheap, but like everything in life; you get what you pay for. Worth every cent and cannot recommend Stay Loyal enough.
My new Greyhound Neville is settling in well and since I started to feed him StayLoyal his coat has transferred withing a month to a silky and shiny appearance. Stay Loyal, I had been seeing a range of issues with all my dogs... itchy skin, upset stomachs, poor coat condition and general ill health. After switching brands to Stayloyal, those conditions simply resolved. All three dogs developed gorgeous lush coats, there were zero skin issues and no more upset stomachs (except the time Dex sucked on a frog but let's not talk about that). The dogs love the food, they hoover it down without any additives. Years later I'm still a sworn advocate of this brand and recommend it to everyone.

poison. I had opened a new bag of food two days ago. I check the bag and sure enough the biscuits were mouldy. I was shocked. I was disappointed at myself as even though I feed them at night, I noticed the biscuits looked powdery the night before, but did not put any more thought into it.
What has shocked me even more is when I referred to the photos of the first bag of moldy biscuits I reported in July, it had the SAME BATCH NUMBER as this second bag of moldy biscuits I recently purchased in November. So the company didn't recall the batch or bother to investigate when I first contacted them in July.
I have been up all night watching my tiny dog. I have two larger dogs that I am also monitoring.
Something has clearly gone wrong with this company as I used them for many years without issues. But not responding to the first report of mouldy biscuits in July tells me that money comes first. I won't be using the product ever again.
I recommend you use another product that won't settle for deadly mould in their food. It's not good enough recalling the batch the first time.

donated what I've been given to our local shelters. So when I was given this bag of Stay Loyal and started on my research I was amazed at what I read. Reviews were incredible, then started looking at the ingredients and thinking something was amiss as with Vet choice brands which can have over 50 ingredients and let me say I think I've become a bit overwhelmed with what a VET will say is the best for your dog, the ingredients tell me it's a mixture of fillers, bad oils, colours, preservatives and protein sludge. I also found out that these BEST food for your dogs are made in the same factory using same ingredients under different names. I also found out Australia as no regulations on dog food. The list goes on and on for why I've always homemade my own dog food UNTIL STAY LOYAL. I have only found 3 companies in my research that have matched Stay Loyal, 1 from New Zealand. 2. from Canada and 3. from Australia. All exceeded the cost I can afford to feed my dogs. STAY LOYAL was the 4th company I found to be affordable and met ALL my requirements for feeding my dogs a good healthy diet without all the rubbish others add to their dog food. For instance I have two 8 kilo dogs, both came to me with problems. My pug was raised from a pup but due to size and other skin problems they were going to put the pup down. We have had her for 2 years. She had a lot of allergies and her nose was always dripping, she would scratch at her eyes and her poor skin was itchy. Nothing we tried from the vets worked until Stay Loyal. No allergies after 4 weeks on Stay Loyal, no itching and I noticed her nose stopped dribbling, her breath is fresh. The only thing that changed was her diet. Diego we took on as a 7 year old and was always licking his feet, itchy skin and the foulest breath. We took him to get his teeth done and follow up regularly but his breath still remained horrible. 4 weeks on Stay Loyal, I have noticed he has stopped licking his feet, his nature has calmed down, his breath is no longer foul. I have been trying to get rid of the home made dog food but after the first few days my little ones eat Stay Loyal, look at my home made food and now ignore it preferring the kibble only. Weird as both dogs are so food focussed. How long does a 15kg bag last? It will last just over 9 weeks for both my dogs. Thank you Stay Loyal. I have always believed diet is the main focus when things start to go wrong with our bodies, same with our dogs. beautiful and shiny. It’s very easy to manage their weight and they are sleek and slender (which is hard for pugs, they *love* their food! I don’t think it would be a falsehood to say that many pugs are overweight - and I’m including all the previous ones we’ve had. I’m not picking on pugs, they only eat what we give them!) Thanks to the information from Stay Loyal, I know what ‘normal’ pug weight looks like, and understand how to identify their healthy weight simply by looking at their shape definition. investigation request with the courier company the response from Stay Loyal was extremely disappointing.
I was told that I shouldn't of contacted the courier company, that their warehouse would be the ones to drive the investigation (who have provided little to no updates after 16 days and still going), that due to "COVID" I need to wait longer for orders (this is not stated on their website and while understandable, the timeframe seems well inflated compared to other companies delivery timeframes). I've also been the one driving the conversation to offer a solution to the issue - I ordered a second lot of food (which went through the same courier company & processing facility and was delivered within 2 days), I've provided them updates regarding the new order, updates regarding the missing order when their response to an email following up on the investigation after 7 days was just "has this been delivered yet" which gave the impression that they hadn't even bothered to try to look into the issue & after 10 days of no resolution I've been the one to ask when a refund/replacement would be available.
As a customer it shouldn't be on me to be the one trying to provide my own customer service and it's been disappointing and extremely frustrating. Mistakes happen and it's the way they are handled that shows a companies value and in this case, it's not a great.

campylobacter jejuni. The vet told me to switch his food immediately, which is what I did. As soon as I changed brands of food, his stools cleared up and no more gas.
When I emailed to cancel my subscription, the guy I was talking to made a big fuss about how I used the word "recommendation" when I was describing how much food I was giving him per day based on the "GUIDE" on the back of the bag. Seemed a bit rude and arrogant. Sorry I used the wrong phrase mate.
NO REFUND WAS OFFERED at any stage of communicating with their support. Had to give away the rest of the food that was left over.
The final straw which made me post this review was that I tried to tell my story on petfoodreviews but the comment was not posted by their moderation team. I will assume that they're getting a kick back from Stay Loyal to only allow positive comments to go through. Probably paid them for the good review too.
I am hoping this comment gets through to let everyone know that it's not all a great experience with this brand. The reason why I was attracted to this brand in the first place was because of the good reviews and to support an Australian business but now I realise that they're not letting the other side of the story be told.

I have fed my 9yr old dog Stay Loyal dog food for the last 6 years. My dog did have an issue with sensitive skin and itching. Since switching to Stay Loyal he no longer has these issues. Why I changed to Stay Loyal – Many years ago I had a dog with digestive issues. I tried just about every food on the market, most were fine for the first month and then the issues began again. When I tried Stay Loyal I never had another issue with this dogs digestive problems, so I have fed Stay Loyal to all my dogs ever since. I dont drive so very convenient to have this delivered to my door. All my dogs love this food and are all in great health.
