Steelcraft Strider Signature v5

Okay but better prams in the market for similar price – The pram is quite sturdy so I don't feel worried about the safety of my newborn when I put her in this but when compared to others in the market don't believe this will be the best in any category. Most of the items are sold separately that you'll need to budget in for prior to buying the pram. For almost a $1000 things like rain cover and fly… Read more
cover should have come as standard maybe the coffee holder too. It's also very heavy, I wouldn't expect many new mums to be able to fold it and load it into the car by themselves, atleast my wife wasn't able to. They provide a lifetime warranty for it but realistically it's just a marketing gimmick if it's not had any issues in the first few months they're just gonna claim its a user fault and tell you it's not covered in warranty. We found the footrest was quite flimsy and probably the weakest part of the pram as the hinge is plastic. It broke within the first year of use and then it just hangs there by the fabric making the whole pram practically unusable. Steelcraft claimed this was due to mishandling and required us to bring the pram to their warehouse and pay for it to be repaired. I just went to the market and bought another travel pram and paid a little bit more than the repair price they quoted. Unfortunately the pram goes to waste now thought we'd be able to use it for the 2nd kid but don't think this is the pram for that, and given our first is already 12kg and the weight limit for the lower basket is 17kg only I'm not sure it would get utilised for 2 kids that often anyway. Should've known that earlier but I guess this is just an expensive lesson learnt.
Pleased with pram – Near 2 year update Still love the pram. Though I am sad this model has been discontinued Show reply
Handy! – I am using v5 since 7 month. It’s very handy and comfortable however I have one issue. I am unable to recline stroller-could you please help me with instructions. Show reply
Perfect for me/my family – I absolutely love the storage space in the basket, and I love that it comes with the bassinet and the seat! Perfect for 2 little ones. The pram is solid, and sturdy. The only flaw I can pick out is the additional cup holder for $30… it does random 360 turns and throws your drinks all over the place. Show details · 1
Outstanding pram for young families – This pram is lightweight, durable and performs well on many surfaces (footpath, gravel, grass and dirt). The foot peddle break is conveniently placed and easy to use with a colour indicator to show when the break is on or off. The suspension allows for a smooth ride for baby or child. Fits up to a 4yr old (20kg) in main/front seat with… Read more · 1
attachments for lower section at the back of the pram as well as inserts to suit the age of your child and covers for different weather (rain cover and mosquito net). The lower seat attachment fits perfectly onto the pram with ease and still allows for compact fold down while attached. This pram is great for families with young children.
Some great features – Bought steelcraft strider signature v5 when we learnt we were expecting again, two under two. It’s a lovely pram, great weight limits, easy to fold. Slightly heavy, but most prams are or even weigh more. Hood is a great size for Australian climate, good size peeabook window, magnetic opening and closing for the win! Updated seat depth and foot… Read more · 1
rest is great New bigger basket, love it with front access much better then predecessor.
Cons- Silver frame- scratches easy and after two uses of quick walk, side strider sticker wearing off Front wheels are bit sticky Disappointed that you now have to buy cup holder, newborn insert, foot muff and rain cover/sun cover when previously come with pram
All in all good pram would recommend
Love it! – Really good pram at an affordable price. Really smooth pram. Suspension is great! Easy to fold and fits nicely in our boot. Basket size is perfect. Quality material. Compared to other more expensive prams, this one has exceeded expectations. Overall really happy with our purchase. Show details · 1
