I was also advised to purchase specific BKT products to maintain the treatment, but despite following the recommended aftercare, the results did not last. This makes me question both the quality of the products suggested and the service provided.

Overall, I feel extremely dissatisfied and misled. The service did not deliver the promised outcome, and I do not believe I received value for the amount paid. I hope the salon reviews this seriously and takes responsibility for the poor results.

I ordered several Kerastase products from Stefan that were meant to come with a Kerastase tote bag. The packer ticked the Tote on the packing list and then threw in a useless Stefan brand Emery board instead. I called and they told me they would call me back but they never did.

Booked an early appointment at North Lakes as was getting my hair ready for my daughter’s wedding so I know they needed time to do it all. cut. Had to go back next week to get hair cut and they did a trim not a style cut. Never again after the amount of money they charge and the complete stuff around. I was made feel like they were too busy so I’ll go elsewhere from now on. They are always under staffed and over booked but to set aside a whole day and get treated like this. Never again.

The blonde looks bright and fresh, exactly what I was after. The team took their time and explained everything clearly. I asked for a half head of foils to lighten my hair and received excellent service—I’m really happy with the results. This time, I prepared ahead by doing a simple Instagram search for the type of blonde I wanted. Bringing reference photos and having an awesome consultant take the time to assess the condition of my hair and explain what was achievable made a huge difference. Highly recommend!

I won’t be returning to a Stefan’s again after charging 500$ for a foil head of foils to come out of the salon looking darker then entering the salon. Very dissatisfied with the service and only money grabbing from clients. Don’t get your blonde hair done here

Disappointed to discover booking online isn't actually booking the appointment. It is just an offer of maybe we can, but can't. when working to get another day which was offered but clearly I needed said booking as it was my day off to actually get hair cut. Then I recieve an email implying I cancelled and I won't be charged for cancelling! Maybe listen to the customer and why they didn't take the appointment and say sorry in the email. Was excited to enter Stefan again after many years but not now sorry.

Beware! You will be overcharged! – I booked a 10:30am appointment for the $189 half head of foils promotion. At 10:50am, no stylist and no explanation as to what was happening. the $189 promotion, knowing that the trim would be an additional cost. I was not prepared for the $488 quote he came back with! $488 for a half head of foils and a trim - nothing else requested. Absolutely no thank you!! How disgusting to be quoted that much - price gouging at its worst. I left the salon. I would hate to think that someone else would be put in a position like that, particularly if they didn’t have the confidence to simply leave. I would avoid this place at all costs.

make sure I was happy. I loved every minute of having my hair done and I received so many compliments on my hair afterwards . I come to Brisbane regularly from Mackay and will be booking my hair appointments here each time I visit now . I highly recommend Stefan in queen street mall all the girls were bubbly and super nice and the overall salon vibe is friendly and happy .

Best shampoo and conditioners!! – I purchase Stefan’s own shampoo, conditioner and treatment and I have to say it is the BEST shampoo, conditioner and treatment I have ever used. It just makes my hair so soft and manageable and it’s such a fair price! I usually place an order and by the next day it s shipped! Usually takes around 2 days to get to me and I don’t even like on the Gold Coast!! I love these products and the customer service is second to none!!

Don’t wash out hair properly – They don’t wash my hair out properly and am always left with colour in my scalp it’s so annoying

Bad hair cut – I have been going to Stefan for around 10 years. The last 2 haircuts have been terrible not straight very crooked. Didn’t listen to what I wanted ended up with a bob. I hate bobs seriously not every woman over 40 likes bobs. Will not be going back only gave one star because the coffee was good

Great experience – High price compared to my usual at home hairdresser but cheaper than the hairdressers in my area - South Brisbane/West End/City. Always professional. Always a great cut. Products smell lovely. Don't take ages

Will not be going back - ridiculous price increases – I have been getting my hair done at Stefan's roughly every 4 weeks for 12 years. Always been happy. get the regrowth done, but every third or fourth visit I'd get a cut and blow-dry done too.) Then January 2023 they went from $70 up to $90. Ouch, but fair enough. February 2023 it went up further to $100, which I questioned. They told me "cost of living, etc." Yesterday I went in to just do the regrowth as I wanted to do my own styling for Christmas Eve, and I was told it would cost $180. $180!! They tried to do a positive push on it by telling me that that price included a cut and blow-dry. I explained that I didn't need a cut as I had a style-cut 3½ weeks ago, but they remained firm that this is their new pricing policy. No more regrowth only service. So, Dec 2022 I paid $70 to get my regrowth done, and Dec 2023 I was charged $180 (I did not want/need the cut and blow-dry)! A price increase of $110 in twelve months?? Unacceptable. After twelve years at Stefan's, I will now be going elsewhere.

Why the surcharge??? – Stefan already charges a fortune for hairdressing. Now a surchage in debit card as well???

Price increase plus a card surcharge – I have been having my hair coloured at Stefans Brisbane for 8 years the hair stylist are wonderful. I understand that there is a need to increase prices but to charge a debit card surcharge with a price increase is ridiculous! I have my hair coloured every 4 weeks. Why add a debit surcharge and a price increase? Really !!

Waste of time and money – I ordered 3 gift packs and other items. All three gift packs were incorrect which was frustrating. I emailed them but they never replied. Prices are exactly the same as everyone else bit I wanted to buy from small businesses instead to help out but I guess that was my mistake. Complete lack of care and no communication what so ever! Terrible

Love the salon – I’m so glad I came back to Stefan and recommend them. They are very nice and look after you. They come to check on you and ask you if you want another drink or anything.

Exactly what I wanted – Went to Stefan for a hair cut and was served by a lady named Aaliyah who was very polite and professional. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Great job Aaliyah, the haircut was exactly what I wanted.

Overated – Staff were friendly but not impressed with price for just a cut. add on costs. Did not feel the staff werent that experienced. Did not have Color as cost was ridiculous.
