Purchased today with a new faucet to connect the pieces. Originally, the connector piece started spraying water everywhere. Used thread tape and noticed the leak was from the piece itself. Returned item and got a replacement, the new connector piece doesn't thread. Will try return tomorrow or I'm down $150 on a useless water filter. Will be… Read more

going to Waterdrop instead for an under the sink filter straight to the tap.

Also all the negative reviews on this product are online, I'm unsure why product review has 0. I should have checked myself before purchase.

Not discontinued at all. Available at Bunnings or Stefani – Fantastic. Does the job perfectly. Bought the small unit first which fits on the tap, but that was useless as comes with ceramic filters, which does not get rid of foul taste in water only debris. So bought this one instead. Filter size means it will last ages (as in cheaper in the long run) and has less restriction on the water flow. Only… Read more

downside is it appears to have minor leak at the unit, but it is so minor, I have not even bothered to try and find and fix the leak, just wipe it away when I notice it. Where I live, my water straight from the tap tastes like it has come straight from a mouldy swimming pool, but this Stefani unit removes ALL taste. Very happy and would definitely recommend this unit to others. Bit more expensive than the on-tap unit, but definitely better value, and works properly if you are concerned not only with debris in your water but also taste.

The best filter – We always filter water in Australia, have moved from Melbourne to Sydney unfortunately old properties have bad quality of water due to the maintenance. I even brought this filter to Singapore for 18 month work relocation :). I believe and feel, with filter the water has good taste and free of most chemicals. Show details

Love it – I don't know why it says discontinued by Stefani on productreview page, because I just bought it from Bunnings only a couple of months ago. Great filter for those that are renting or can't be bothered putting in an under-sink unit. Does what it says. Filtred water whenever you want it. Don't have to wait for water to drip through my Brita jug anymore..  Show details

Good – Love this unit. After having several other models, this would have to be the better unti especially because the unit itself and the parts seem to be of better quality. We have had our unit only a year but no regrets during this time. Probably only thing would be if the unit came in different colours to match the kitchen colours, otherwise the… Read more

unit itself is very good. No regrets at all, perhaps wishing I purchased this unit first before the other which only seem to have lasted a year each. This one will go a few years easily. Good value benchtop unit.

I love the digital water counter to see when the filter needs changing. None really

OK – If the problems hadn't occured then yes it would be a good filter, but if its ment to be a bench top unit it should be a bit more robust, but mabey we just lucked out on ours, but annoying when we payed the exta for this model. is there a place in NZ we can get the rep's to check it out?? hkmike-in-oz@hotmail.com really liked the look of the… Read more

Chrome model and the digital read out was cool, After we moved country and it was in storage for 6 weeks, The digital read out nnever worked again, Now after nearly 2 years it keeps leaking from the thread where the outlet screws in,upon inspecting it has a hairline crack in the thread of the base unit, so always leaks when used.
