After 3wks using Stiebel SHP-O 300+ with enamel-lined steel tank, I am happy with it. The hot water flow and pressure are consistent. I use a time managed setting at 9am-4pm to coincide with my pool pump to workaround noises in my house at night. I am still monitoring the energy usage and all seems good. SG Ready relay option is a feature that I would like to use later. Paired bluetooth with mySteibel app without issue. Press the link button (chain symbol) a few seconds on the front panel for WiFi. Am glad to see app on github repository.

Terrible noisy waste of money. Deeply unhappy we bought it. It is incredibly noisy. As advertised it is 58 decibels. We are in a townhouse, whilst it is supposed to be 40.7 dB(A) at 3 meters plus away, I can hear the droning fan anywhere on the right side of our townhouse. Compared with a silent gas hot water, I don't know why you would want such a loud droning fan sound. I also have cycling hot and cold showers after exercise to relax my muscles, the heat pump takes a really long time to have cold water coming out after the warm. Last, the internet connection on these machines and controls are an absolute joke. The plumber and electrician who installed it couldn't connect it to our internet, which is a standard Optus 5/2.4 hz wifi, so I had to set up a separate 2.4 hz dedicated wifi stream just for the water pump. It then took 2 hours and 2 tries to connect due to their patchy cloud system and even now it inexplicable drops in and out. The company takes no responsibility for it, the installers say it is Stiebel eltron's issue and they are completely unhelpful. The app is pretty rubbish anyway and the control panel without it is almost unusable.

So far - brilliant quality. Replaced a previous Stiebel Eltron WWK 300A which was in use for about 13 years. As the previous model had been very robust, went with the newer model Stiebel Eltron SHP-O 300L (supplied and installed - Brisbane area - by JR Gas and Water). Really impressive looking unit - and it's great to monitor the heating and temperature (and set a schedule of when to heat up) through the application. With such a small area to install the unit, the SHP-O 300L is slimmer than the WWK 300A, providing that bit more space. Water temperature is hotter than before and with virtually no noise when running.
