Managed to get 21 garden tools mounted including shovels, rakes, brooms, hedger, blower, brushcutter, powercord and even the heavy items like sledgehammer and mattock.

Ecstatic with results (see pic) as finally got these tools organised, very easily accessible, off the ground and now not leaning around on walls taking up space for getting the car, etc in garage. Highly recommend this product for getting garage storage sorted.

evening on the StoreWALL website using the estimation tool to determine which parts I needed to purchase. After watching a number on installation videos on YouTube I adjusted the recommended list of panels and mounting strips, ordering a mixture of 8-foot and 4 -foot panels that exactly covered the area I required. I also adjusted the recommended number of mounting strips after some manual calculations. I save a few hundred dollars off the total cost with these manual optimisations. The quantity I ordered was perfect, with only about 1 foot of extra trim leftover. I was fortunate that the area that I needed to cover was an almost perfect match for an even combination of 4-foot and 8-foot panel bundles. I ordered the medium-duty panels which are more than strong enough for domestic use.

The product is designed with well-coordinated sizes for installation. As demonstrated in the online videos a mixture of 4-foot and 8-foot panels can be used with the careful alignment of the strips with the panel boundaries. It is important to avoid aligning panel boundaries across rows to ensure maximum strength of the installed wall. The panels are fairly easy to cut with a regular circular saw if required.

The product was delivered very promptly, within a couple of days of ordering. It was well packaged in manageable sizes and weights that I could carry by myself. The delivery was much quicker than expected. I give full marks for the ordering and delivery process.

It took me about a day to install the wall alone using information from YouTube videos watched before ordering. I mounted it on a plaster/brick wall which was time-consuming. It required 120 plastic hole plugs and screws to attach the metal mounting strips to the wall. The installation went well with everything completed including the glued trim by the end of the day. The tools used were a cordless drill, a couple of masonry drill bits, a Phillips screwdriver bit, a 3-foot level, a step ladder, a hand mitre saw for the trim, a circular saw to make a few strategic cuts in one panel and a caulking gun to apply T-Rex trim adhesive that I had leftover from another project. Many may wish to hire an installer, but I enjoyed the challenge. Installing the wall yourself is fairly straight forward with some careful measurement and planning. Having an impact drill would have significantly sped up the installation process into my brick wall. Installation would be much easier into wood studs.

The hooks I ordered worked well for my tools. There is a pretty wide selection on hooks offer. However, it is important to have a plan for the collection of hooks you will require for your particular need as they are quite expensive and cannot be bent or reshaped. Measure the length of the hooks and the depth of their curvature to ensure that they will fit your tools properly. I had to make a few last-minute changes to my originally planned layout given the shape of some of my tools, but everything worked out well in the end. The hooks have an excellent mounting system which is easy to install and relocate with a flat-head screwdriver. The design is very flexible once installed. Our pre-existing wall and hooks have lasted well over their years of use. The panels are strong when mounted correctly, the hooks very sturdy. I have no doubt that the wall will last for many years.

I would definitely purchase the product again for a workshed or garage. I have attached an image of the two rectangular sections now installed in my garage. The new section that I installed is the slightly darker grey area nearest to the camera.
