Strayban Stray Animal Deterrent

Paid and received nothing – I ordered two Strayban as I had heard on the radio how good they were. Two weeks after ordering and not receiving the items I rang. I was told they were in the mail. This excuse continued for another three weeks. Eventually when I told them they were not compliant I was told they would refund my money. They refused to refund on my credit card and sent a cheque. The cheque was dishonoured.

Does not work – It doesn't work on possums. I have them in two ceilings and tried both as per instructions, made no difference they are still there and in close proximity to the unit. Don't waste your money.

Completely Satisfied – We were inundated with possums for years. Had it for 18 months and have not had one possum since. Completely satisfied.

Actually Does What It Says – We have a fig tree which delighted the local possums, despite being netted. Was tired of patching eaten through nets and losing crops. vege patch. This product definitely works. We recommend it all the time when possum problems come up.

It can just be heard, but only a low pitched clicking unless you accidentally put an ear very close, as in a few cms. Then you can hear a high frequency squeal. As I said... accidentally got that close. A sensible person wouldn't do that. :) We have a unit under the eave outside our bedroom window, and it can't be heard inside.

It works for me! – Possums were eating every new shoot on my glory vine and looked like killing it. A casual garden employee spotted the problem and recommended and installed Strayban on the fascia board near the pergola. In contrast to the experience of some other reviewers, it has worked like a charm, with leaves being able to develop without interference.

Poor Product Poor Company – I purchased this product and it did work for around 6 weeks. It then stopped working ie possum happily sitting less than a metre from machine and I contacted Strayban and sent product back under warranty. This was done at my expense. Tried it again and possums returned and have been trying to contact this company for over a week on email and phone to no avail. Do not buy

Well, it works at my place ..... thank God! – I have tried everything and I am fed up with them eating everything. Now we into spring I was really concerned about my Japanese maple.. which was badly attacked by possums last year... horrible....so, so far.... GREAT. It's the best money I spent... Can be easily moved around Needs to have a swing mount, so you can easily change the direction of sound

Works well – I've been been using it for a year now and it has saved my back yard from constant possum poo. Possums cleared off after about a week and haven't come back. My cat was a little edgy around it so I run it on a timer to come on at night. It actually works, inaudible For the price tag it could be a more durable unit

Doesn't Work – I bought the strayban 2 years ago. It Just doesn't work - save your money! I tried it for many months and the possums just kept coming.. $300 down the drain.. Complete rip off. How many words do I need to write to try and save people from wasting their hard earned money - just don't buy it. This product should simply not be allowed to be sold for this purpose. A marketing sham! – This product DOES NOT WORK. Let’s just say we caught the possum about 30cm away from the Strayban unit just staring at it! The frequency quite obviously did not bother it at all. supposed to work within a 10 metre range). And every morning we would wake up to the paved area in our backyard covered in fresh possum droppings.

And as per the Strayban website, this product is NOT silent to humans at all. If close enough, you can definitely hear a clicking noise that can be quite annoying to be around.

What a rubbish product. Needless to say, we requested a full refund and returned it. The money back guarantee It didn't work!

This product works! – We have been trying to get rid of possum at our home for awhile now - they run (and urinate/poo!) all over our pool fence and deck. its great. the company is really good to deal with and its a family run business. Its great to be able to use our outdoor area again! The machines send out a low clicking sound and changes all the time so they dont get use to it. - great idea and great company! They work! Small, easy to install, id pay anything to get rid of those possums! Low clicking sound - its not too bad though
