Purchased a Tissot watch from Streetwise (Seastar Chronograph). The watch's bezel rotated both directions, could not keep time and seemed a little off, eventually checked the serial number which did not match anything online and have raised the significant likelihood that the watch is fake. Despite multiple attempts to contact Streetwise, there… Read more
has been no response, will likely raise this to consumer protection. Please be aware of not only streetwise selling items that are likely to be fake but also not being responsive in remediating when matters are raised. Won't be purchasing from Streetwise ever again.
Like the rest of the reviews state BEWARE! I received my items but they are in fact fake. I ordered 2 diesel Mr Daddy 2.0 watches from them and they are A1 replicas and not authentic. In the picture the gold one is authentic, it came with all the supporting tags that real diesel watches come with. The red on is the fake from streetwise. One… Read more
tag, and the font isn’t even authentic. It took months to get the watches to me. They assured me they would refund the priority shipping up on receipt of the watches. When I called them out for being fake with a mound of proof they took offence gave me some excuses and disappeared. No refund and no further communication. BEWARE this company unless you want fake products
I am currently waiting for the watch and cannot get any answers. I will be contacting my bank tomorrow to put in a complaint. I spent 480 dollars they took the money no response no watch BEWARE Show details
Tissot Watch Authenticity – I received a Tissot Watch from my family for my 60th birthday. The watch was purchased from Streetwise Australia on 6th January and presented to me on the 8th February at my 60th. I put it on and it just didn't feel right. I checked it's serial number on the Tissot Australia Website and it didn't appear. I rang Tissot Australia and they advised… Read more
they had also received negative feedback relating to the authenticity of watches being sold by Streetwise Australia. The writing on the back of the watch was very difficult to read. I tested the watch in the dark and it didn't illuminate as it should. My Sister sent an email to Streetwise Australia (SA) advising she wanted to return the watch and be refunded. The 30 day return clause had lapsed due, therefore we weren't able to get a full refund. My Sister didn't receive a email reply. SA advises they reply to emails within 48 hours. I sent a email after writing a product review and I interestingly received a reply. SA agreed to take the watch back under the "Change of Mind" clause. SA's email also asked me to take down my previous product review. SA refunded $601 of the $680 purchase prices. The Change of Mind clause resulted in a 10% charge plus postage costs. Good news I was able to buy the Tissot Seastar 1000 45.5mm for $768 (20% discount) from Mazzuchelli's in Adelaide who are a authentic Tissot allowed seller. After purchase I registered my watch on the Tissot website and the serial number was accepted and I received a Manufacturer's Warranty. In the end we were in the negative by $252. Should we wear that cost. Definitely no. Do we go further? We will investigate.
Steetwise Fake Watches – Do not buy watches from Streetwise Australia l purchased Tissot Seastar mens watch the bracelet broke took it to Tissot Melbourne only to be told you where sold a fake and could not help me .paid $680 for a fake that cannot be repaired . sent them an email with no reply back.how can they still be allowed to still advertise on there website fake products.
Dodgy products being sold – Purchased watches on sale, received quickly. Check the watch serial numbers on their respective brand websites to register the warranties. One already had the warranty about to expire and the other the details provided are not recognised by the brand. I have verfied the watch sold is counterfeit (a fake). They demanded 'proof' which I provided… Read more
and suddenly they have no response. Buyer beware! They are not an authorised retailer to sell the brands on their website. They claimed they sell grey market imported stock whereby the brand warranties are voided which they're not transparent about this on their website. Their 'customer service' is non existant. Advise to not to purchase from them, their prices are cheaper for a reason!! And good luck with trying to get a refund from them. To SA: Selling counterfeit products in Australia is a crime with legislation providing for a maximum penalty of five years imprisonment and two years for trademark offences.
Watch sold was not legitimate and they did not refund the full amount – The watch I purchased had a small issue that required a warranty service. The manufacturer refused service advising they believed the watch was a counterfeit. Upon contact, Streetwise Australia did investigate but took over two months before refunding me but they did not refund the full amount saying they withheld PP costs. The order did not have any shipping costs so how can they withhold PP costs? Do not purchase from this site!! Show details
No service and no item – Website advertises for express shipping. Order placed with this option was not received by Australia Post for another two business days. Capital city to capital city “skip the cue” express shipping seemingly takes a week or more. No reply to chat requests - no phone number to call. Requested contact was not made. Will see if item actually arrives,… Read more
in what state and if watch is genuine.
Update: item arrived but is faulty. Can not return due to no response from website - issues same as above. Ombudsman can not help either. Money was wasted on a fake watch sold as "genuine". STAY AWAY!
