An outstanding learning and qualification experience! – A fantastic and challenging learning experience! After considerable research I couldn't be more pleased with gaining my CASA Aeronautical Radio Operators Certificate (AROC) and Certification to operate Remote Pilots License (RePL). The online portions of the courses were comprehensive and complimented by remote learning and instruction facilitated by Ross. Ross's sessions enabled a great holistic learning experience with the students encouraged to share resources and experiences. A very rich and rewarding experience. I was challenged in the practical aspects of flying, and consequently failed at my first attempt, which was as it should be. However, with much encouragement and a series of practical exercises and drills provided by Brad, Siobhan and the team I was able to confidently resubmit a couple of months later after I had accumulated more experience and over 20 more flying hours. I thoroughly recommend the Suasrov courses. Great instruction by Ross, Brad, Luke and the entire Suasrov team!

Great course, would absolutely do it again – Not sure what the other guy is on about, but I personally found the teaching experience to be fantastic. For those who didn't fair well on the tests, they were very encouraging and offered one on one support if it was needed. The tests were fairly straightforward, and I never once felt like the content wasn't discussed prior. Learning resources could have been better from a UI perspective (some web apps can feel dated), but overall isn't something to complain about as the important stuff (like what you actually need to learn) is clear, concise, and relevant.

Suas Rov training failure – Yeah, this "training" company fails on multiple aspects. Prior to training I asked if there was any pre-study documentation I could look at. I was told that there was none and the instructor will cover what’s required. The instructor could only be likened to a bottle of sleeping pills while skipping critical content saying “you won’t need that” and “you won’t need this”.

Instead of sticking to the curriculum, the course instructs the exam, eg we heard that aircraft movements, ie legs, distances and approaches represented 15% of the questions. Nope, not ONE question was asked. I had some questions regarding human factors and aircraft operations that I’d seen for the first time.

Save your money with this company and go elsewhere. It’s expensive training to sit for an expensive exam going in half prepared.
