Summit Trail Climber A/W

Excellent tyre so far, but only drove 10k with it – So just want to give this tyre a review after 10.000 km of rough road, all kinds of 4wd tracks, rocky, sandy, muddy. I just came back with this tyre from the Gibbs river road, there's not even a little scratch on the rubber of the tire, it survived it without problem. If this tyre is gonna last a good amount of time im definitely gonna give it 5… Read more
stars. For the price you cant go wrong. it handled all kinds of tracks really good like a A/T tyre would
Junk tire. Wholesale tire does not honor warranty – Belts separated on all for tires. Only drove on highway and suburban roads. I took the tires to garage and Dealer would not honor warranty. Wholesale tire of Martinsburg WV would not warrant. No reputable dealer will sell summit tires in this area as I have come to find out. Don't waste your money and time. Show details
Great for the first 30k then deteriorate and need full set by 50k – If you think you're getting a cheaper deal than coopers or bf goodrich for the set in the long term it will work out more expensive due to having to buy a new set after 50k and in rotate and balance. Where if you stuck with a better quality tyre you're likely to get up to 100k out of them. Going back to coopers now. Only gave them 2 stars as offroad they were good and noise very low. Cheap because they wear out super quick. Show details
Awesome rubber priced brilliantly – So far over 20,000km on these on highway and dirt and light duty off roading and wearing really well, estimate 70,000 to 80,000km out of these. Great handling in wet and dry, no noisier than my Cooper ATR's and less than half the price fitted and balanced. I went with the Light Truck (extra ply) construction. Show details
Tick all the boxes – Just fitted 4 new Summit AW Trail Climbers. to a 1994 Discovery Ride and handling are above average and road noise is low. I like the fact they are not so "Off Road" agressive. Have no idea how they are going to wear so no 5 stars at this stage, otherwise great. Inexpensive Show reply
summit trail climber A/W tyre very good – purchased 2 weeks ago, only $135 per tyre they seem to have a decent amount of tread depth, mildly aggressive tread pattern, very quiet on the road, great in the wet, seem ok on the sand, grip pretty well in most conditions. Overall for the price, a very capable 4wd all terrain tyre, nice to drive, smooth and responsive. smooth ride, tread pattern, inexpensive tread pattern could be a little more agressive Show 2 replies
