Be warned avoid sunbeam products at all costs!!! – Useless piece of Sunbeam rubbish I purchased the sunbeam automatic coffee autogrinder ii after only a few uses it literally stopped working; I have attempted contacting sunbeam and have had no response...I will never again purchase another sunbeam product...Completely useless piece of rubbish much like the customer service!! Be warned avoid sunbeam products at all costs!!! Show details
Garbage – This grinder is junk and is broken from day 1. Bought brand new from Myer but will not work. I have read the instructions multiple times, but it still doesn't want to work. I will be returning it for a refund and I won't be buying another Sunbeam grinder. Might give Breville a try... Show details
Brittle Plastic – We've had this for 1 month and the plastic of the bowl is already starting to crack just above where it joins the metal and it wont be long before it breaks from the look of it. Our Sunbeam food processor has done the same thing, so I think they need to work on R&D in their plastics division... Show details
Affordable grinder – I used to have a similar one and grind the coffee beans exactly the finest I need and lasted me over 3 years. Since I am very picky with the quality of my expresso, this grinder becomes essential to make my coffee great. I won't get other brand or expensive grinder at all but this Sunbeam serves my needs very well. Highly recommended Show details · 1
Requires Too Much Effort – There doesn't seem to be a great deal of thought when designing the Sunbeam EM0420 AutoGrinder. I've tried it once but don't really like it and regret the purchase. It is also too small for my liking. You need to ensure the grinding bowl is thoroughly cleaned and completely dry after using it as it may not be hygienic and may harbour mould if the… Read more
coffee grounds aren't cleaned out properly.
Having a part steel and part plastic grinding bowl makes it difficult to clean out as residue of coffee gets stuck in between the plastic and steel. Even though there's a small brush to clean any residue of coffee, there is still bits of ground coffee left in the sides where there is the plastic and metal of the grinding bowl.
I'm not entirely sure who designs these Sunbeam grinders. But what I would have preferred is a tough compact grinder with a stronger motor that would last the distance. You need to be able to actually clean the grinder bowl in soapy water to clean out coffee residue properly. Somehow a damp cloth isn't a solution to a cleaner grinder.
Again, lasted only a short time – Bought in November 2014, returned in February 2015, just stopped working. We replaced the Sunbeam with a Breville - that broke in December 2015, returned the Breville and and have gone back to original Sunbeam AutoGrinder - is working ok - has done now for nearly 3 months, here's hoping.

Works ok , replaced in warranty – Bought from target, used twice and on third time, it broke. fortunately had the internet order receipt and exchanged in store, I been using it and does the job pretty good, grinding levels are nice.....love to have fresh colombian beans grinded for a fresh coffee. The one touch button works fine and is very quick to do the job.
