I have just purchased a butler turbo and it keeps beeping even though the water is full. I keep straightening the hose but it just kinks again. I have it as high as I can so the hose remains straight however the light still comes on and beeps. I thought I was doing something wrong but I have checked the instructions and something is just not right. Please help

Love this machine and use it regularly. It is now 17 months old and we haven’t used it whilst being away a few months. Now when I turn on it trips the power. Is there a warranty on this item?? Not impressed as it is not that old.

I have just purchased one of these. The steamer light does not display. The lights for each setting work but stay on. My understanding is that the steamer light should come on and go out when the desired temp setting is reached. Is this a fault with my unit?

I have just returned from 2 months overseas to my Sunbeam Butler Turbo cutting out the earth leakage. It appears this is a continuing problem by the above posts. Initially when I purchased this unit in October 2018 I was very disappointed with its performance as the only setting it worked on was the highest possible and that was for delicate fabrics. Having persevered with this and have the above happen Sunbeam have really disappointed with this product. Having spent this amount of money on an appliance I would have expected better that less than 8 months worth of usage. (Been away several times in this past 12 months)............ Also I would suggest that a heat resistant glove be included with this appliance from a safety point of view. Where do I stand as this is probably just out of warranty? Purchased Myer Chermside.

A shame you had the same problem. I believe it has a 2 year warranty so Sunbeam should replace it FOC if you still have the receipt. You wont get a refund though. Very sadly we actually bought another one. We tried two other brands but they were terrible! So we went back to the sunbeam and just accept it will die any time after a year :), it was on a really good sale . While buying it though Myer had 3 retuned faulty units a shame sunbeam wont improve the design as it actually works really well for the stuff we use it on.

Hello Shirley, So sorry to hear about your steamer trouble. Reloy is correct, Sunbeam does offer a two year warranty on all our irons. So if you can DM your full details, I will organize a replacement for you.

The steamer was working fine and suddenly is tripping the electric circuits, what I can do?

Mine did the exact same thing, it looked like the boiler had failed and was corroded. Sorry to tell you there is nothing you can do to save the unit, go out and buy a different unit. Condolences for your lose.....

Hi Anne. You can steam continuously until the water runs out. The warning light will come on and the machine will go into standby.
