refine grind size with various options on the grinder is a great feature. However, a downside is the close proximity of the grinds cradle to the group head, making it difficult to lock in the group handle without bumping your knuckles on the cradle’s plastic.

Just recently received my Origins Sense Espresso Machine and have been in love with it so far. The grinder feature allows for a perfect coffee, especially for someone with minimal barista experience like myself. 1) Simple, clean and sleek design that is compact yet functional. It is thoughtful in how the design is put together - like small details like the coffee grind adjuster which is built in the coffee grounds container. 2) Consistently great coffee at almost every use. Not all machines can deliver this (also possibly due to time of day and level of alertness). However I found this machine gives great coffee almost every time. 3) Easy to Clean - overall machine is easy to clean and actually stays looking clean despite daily use. I have a slight comment on the milk frother - see below.

Things I think can be better: 1) Milk Frother takes a little while to start - I had to wait 5-10 secs for the frother to get going. 2) Auto frother function is great but can be better - I had to lift the milk container myself and froth manually (its not hard to) as it was a bit too loud compared to my experience with my previous machine (note: my older machine was a more premium model so likely not comparable really). However, once it gets its job done, the milk is very good and also consistent in quality.

Best part is I use almond milk usually other machines over heat my milk but this coffee machine makes a perfect silky almond milk.

and the instructions in the book are easy to follow but if this is your first machine with a grinder you will need them. The 2 shot was dispensing way too much coffee to begin with so I had to trouble shoot that one! The two tap mechanism also took me a little while to master but again I got there in the end.

The auto milk is a great feature if you need to step away from the machine as well as ensuring perfectly silky milk every time. I was also pleasantly surprised by how much quieter this machine was than my old one.

All in all after a weekend of drinking way too much coffee, and referring to the very helpful instructions and online videos through the QR code i finally conquered the art of coffee & am happy with the machine. Unfortunately as the picture shows my latte art still needs more work!

Update - I’ve been using this machine for over 1 month now and I get perfect coffee every time. I absolutely love it!
