Transactions disputed but never did anything about them.
Disputed transactions on card, card was cancelled but nothing further done and now won’t don’t anything about $200+ amount.
They don’t care one bit. Avoid as what they said was lies.
Very poor experience - would not use Suncorp based on this experience
Extremely poor user experience, high levels of administration, weren't allowed to access internet banking for the supplementary cardholder due to an internal Suncorp error, highly delayed transaction information, clunky online user experience, multiple administrative delays up-front on application. Customer Call Centre also led to a terrible experience (19/10/21 11:35). Would not use Suncorp again.

No Applepay - way behind the times
This card does NOT support ApplePay (even though this site lists it as supporting Apple Pay and Suncorp's debit card supports apple pay) - it is so far behind the times, it's ridiculous. They need to get their technology up to speed!
No Google Pay or Apple Pay
Card works but Suncorp are way behind the times with technology. No Google Pay or Apple Pay. You can't even see the card in the great Suncorp App. You have to download another crappy banking App to see your balance.
I'm going to get another credit card.

never had the issues with other credit cards
Have used credit card for more than 20 years and never had the same problems as Suncorp credit card. We applied the cards due to change the home loan to Suncorp, so many troubles since applying. Asked the documents again and again when we already got home loan approved.
Then, we found the weird interest, and its for cash in advance, and we never used cash in advance. Called them, and then they said its sellers' problem, which is not at all. We still try to call them, and just no one pick the phone or transfer your call to somewhere else.
We really consider to get rid of this card and apply other one.

No Apple Pay no Google Pay!
No Apple Pay no Google Pay! It’s almost 2021 and this feature still does not exist. Just ridiculous! Don’t bother.
Yet description in product review still says it has these features.
Beware this card is actually Citi NOT Suncorp
BEWARE - This is actually citi in disguise - Citi has poor customer service, they rely on a computer algorithm to determine credit limit. Poor communication. Lengthy delays and no real accountability or answers. They provide generic email correspondence. Sad that Suncorp a company which has generally high levels of customer service would rely on such a substandard organisation (Citi) to provide credit. They can't even get with the digital age and use Apple Pay - yet Suncorp's own cards do (go figure).

works fine 99% of the time
It works fine 99% of the time as any other cards do. However, as far as I know, beware Suncorp's credit card is actually issued and managed by Citibank, so when you have problem or request, there might be delay, and of course Citibank in background has no motivation to try to make Suncorp's customer happy, for example Suncorp's own debit card has Apple Pay, Citi' own credit card has Apple Pay, but Citi managed Suncorp credit card ,has nothing in 2019. Anyway, time to leave for good.

An average card
The points are ok but this card is from CitiCorp so you don't get points on govt transactions. Card is not compatible with apple pay but does work with samsung pay. There is limited access to the card features in the suncorp app.

Great product with nice perks!
My husband and I both have a Suncorp Clear Options Credit Card and both love it. With all purchases you receive points and can redeem them for rewards or even cash them in to offset purchased on your credit card. We actually use our credit cards to pay all our bills and charge purchases to and pay off at the end of the month to which we don't actually get charged any interest. Early this year we had enough points each to book a return trip to regional Australia (2 connecting flights each way) to surprise my in laws with the news that they will ...
Read morebe first time grandparents. Knowing that this trip didn't cost us anything definitely made it more enjoyable! Highly recommend this credit card. The only negative I will add is that in Melbourne there are extremely few branches of Suncorp if you want to update your details which cannot be completed online, the customer service is not the greatest. This is a huge inconvenience as we either need to go into the CBD during working hours or travel 40 minutes to the closest branch, there is less than a hand full of branches in Victoria. When we have gone into the branch to update details such as a surname due to marriage it was not completed correctly resulting in a second visit to the CBD (which is a half day off work exercise) and 2 phone calls later with 2 credit cards being re-issued before the correct name was updated on the system and credit card it's self. Customer Service needs improvement. But online accounting and the product it's self is great. The reviewer stated that an incentive was offered for this review
High interest rate
I was offered this card as part of my homeloan package. The interest is very high, although there are interest free days, so I avoid using unless required. The points can be redeemed for flybuys which I like

A good credit card
changed from a Citi card to this as my dispute with Citi went nowhere
my experience with Suncorp has been excellent- rewards are good
I see the 4 major banks as un-trustworthy
I support Suncorp Bank as it has Queensland roots

Basic rewards program, no real benefits.
This card has a simple rewards program with introductory bonus is you spend $1500/mth for 6mth ... however other benefits are very limited. The application process was drawn out and a large amount of detail required for such a small balance especially when they already have my mortgage and bank details.
The complimentary insurance is too restricted with such requirements as your full flight costs (No use of points & pay) must be used to even qualify, and then the benefits are limited. Exchange rate fees are large at 3%.
There is no Google pay...
Questions & Answers
I am interested in using the travel insurance option that come with this card. Has anyone used the travel insurance for their overseas trips and if so did it meet all expectations?
