No one could help, the last person who tried just left me hanging on the line and transferred me elsewhere because they had no idea. Customer of 15 years + and they can’t even fix a basic issue. Unbelievably incompetent overseas call centre. This resulted in two complaints being generated, the second one I didn’t even ask to lodge one, they just automatically made a complaint without asking me haha

Worked well for a while, now every time you want to redeem a reward the choice is either limited and no availability for what you have points available to purchase. Or as another reviewer mentioned you will get "there are no awards available in your selection" Need to check this with ACCC as even though they will likely have something in the fine print that covers this, it is surely a form of misleading advirtising. If you dont have it dont advirtise it A google search says there are better rewards programs. That's also an option

the travel credit since it has to be booked through Amex's travel agency with Qantas and they always have tickets more expensive than when booking other options. It has to be booked in a single purchase and the purchase must be above $450 (hence not a cheap flight, so I would be loosing big every time I tried to book). Doesn't work with Jetstart either.
I would recommend going for a different card as this one is definetly not paying back its cost.
I hate that I cannot prepay my balance when I want, only after I receive the bill, though that may just be me.

Limit. The interest is quite high, but I do not get an annal fee. I have managed to sort it out and Access online services since the changeover to NAB. At first it was a stressful ordeal. There are a LOT of codes sometimes annoying. I hope I never need to ring for services because that service is terrible and I can never understand the Language. I get double flybuy points at Coles,Kmart,Target,Bunnings / Coles group Stores. (There are other stores, but I do not shop at). I have only ever used this card for Grocery Shopping at Coles or small Kmart purchases. I do not have any other credit cards as I closed them. I plan to close this one in 2027 When I have enough savings. I would recommend to never have a credit card past $2,000 Limit. It is borrowed money & it's not worth the misery of being in high debt for years. JMG

stand out has always been the customer service aspect... but a lot has changed over the 15 years, and I am happy to say I will not be using them anymore as the funding and development into customer service has deteriorated to such a point where I wasted hours trying to get a simple question answered and the people there are closing the chat after 1 minute where you have been waiting over 10 for them to reply. I would caution against using them, and not recommend them to friends at all. I think there are better products which are more widely available in the market, I think AMEX has a dying business model, and the one point for standing out in market they have divested from... so I wish you well in your selection and you may be lucky... but hopefully you never have a question or raise a concern. Expect for no helpful feedback.... IMO. Happily moving on to another provider. My annual spend btw was over 40k AUD per year on the card, and even with that I dont see the benefits of this anymore.

card for a minimum of $500 purchase per month. Initially if you use the credit card for $500 or more purchase in the first month, you will be getting $100 cash rebate, so I did use this credit card for purchase of more than $500 for the first month and then the next few months. I called the CBA call center after two months as I did not receive the first $100 cash rebate for my first month of using it. The CBA call centre staff advised that they have changed the offer to I will only get a total of $400 cash rebate after 4 months when I have used the credit card for a minimum of $500 purchase per month for the first 4 months. And I did use the credit card for more than $500 per month for the first 4 months. Then 6 months on, I have not received the cash rebate of $400 yet, so I called the CBA call centre again, they advised that I will receive the cash offer of $400 around mid May 2025. So I waited and waited and waited until I called the CBA call centre again on 22 May 2025, the CBA staff checked for me as to why I did not get the $400 cash rebate. I was very surprised to hear that he said I was not entitled to the cash rebate of $400 despite I have met the criteria of using the credit card for the first 4 months for more than the minimum requirement of $500 per month, however I did not have a CBA transaction account with CBA, so I was not entitled to it. I was shocked to hear that, firstly I was not told for the previous couple times when I called the CBA call centre that I needed to have a CBA transaction account, secondly when the staff told me that the criteria of having a CBA transaction account was only stated in the terms and conditions that you need to click into the link on CBA's website. I was wondering if such a criterion is that important, it should be shown clearly in their website when promoting this cash rebate offer, it should not be stated in the terms and conditions that you need to click into the link to read the 17 pages terms and conditions. I was very disappointed and frustrated with CBA!!!

The bank tried to re-open my account by applying for a new card which failed. I escalated to AFCA due to the lack of professionalism from this brand. I do not recommend using NAB or any NAB credit card offering. When COVID bit I paid my credit card in full and I think I was a few dollars in credit. I never worried about re checking my balances because I knew I paid it off and I Kew I wasn’t going to be travelling in the near future so I didn’t think much of it until I found the new credit card they send me last year in a bowl waiting to be activated.
I rang them to my shock they told me that because I didn’t pay my bill they terminated My account. The real story here is that I paid my credit card in full and was as I remember in credit back in February 2020 but as COVID hit everything went mad. I had no need of credit card as I wasn’t travelling anymore but the bank regardless of my good credit rating forgot to informed me that they charged me an annual fee.
I never received phone call or e en an email to the fact and today the person I spoke to said it wa my responsibility to check account online that statements get send there. Yes I understand that very well but the fact that my account was settled before COVID-19 hit i had no reason to suspect I own them anything. The fact that some people are struggling and there is messages on website advertising assistance to tose in need is disturbing as simple telephone. All or email could had avoided this. Poor customer service I call this..plus due to current hardships the bank should not be allowed to charge annual fees. I always been a good customer all these years and paid my bills on time and their attitude with my situation has left me very disappointed. I have never received any communication about why they were canceling my account, no telephone call no email ever sent.

stolen but before that happened I was scammed of about $200 i think and they couldnt even retrieve those funds nor did they even block my card or even tell me I got scammed...
I tried bankwest breeze and my experience has been the opposite despite having to pay an annual fee of $60 which is the only downside I can think about and now I dont mind because of how amazing they have been in managing my recent scammed as follows: 1) they notified me first of a potential scam via SMS and of course i checked my transactions and there was an overseas fraudulent transaction of over $2000 (almost 10x my last scam experience) 2) as per their SMS i called them about what to do in this situation and they: - blocked my card - reissued me a new card - and said they will dispute the transaction they did this in less than a minute or at least it felt that way ... no arguments ... no excessive questioning ... just straight to the point.
I have attached my correspondence for the successful result so basically I am very happy with how they handled everything so am definitely going to continue using bankwest and paying that $60 annual fee haha
